Yes Jay. I also favor a less romanticized sounding audio system. There's so many different flavors when it comes to sound presentation in high end audio and every individual gets to pick his/her favorite.

I like High Definition, Clarity, Huge Sound stage and dynamics. But I also like air and 3-dimensional holographic imaging as well. Each track on my system sounds different and totally unique from the next track. Accuracy is what I shoot for when selecting gear. It appears like we can appreciate each other’s tastes with regards to high end sound. 🎉

How do you submit a question? I would love to know Jays opinion on the D'Agostino Progression Stereo amp and the Luxman M10x specifically with Wilson Sasha DAW's.

Here’s my question: how far can hi end go by pushing the envelope? I attend the Capital Audio Fest every year and hear some amazing systems. It amazes me how can it get better, but it does.

Sterile? Nonsense, plain nonsense. I’ve heard your speakers in an audio salon in NYC with D’Agostino electronics. I don’t recall the source. It was amazing as I’m sure yours is. OCD is jealous and a bit wacky to say the least.

Magico all the way just because they look so much better. Would have to sell a rental property to buy them though so that’s not gonna happen. Happy with my Persona, Rel, McIntosh setup.

JAY ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO MY FRIEND. However Nagra is really known for there great sounding reel to reel tape decks. Do a comparison with your best streamer and you will see why. Nagra is not reaaly a great amp or pre amp company imho.

Maybe to the listener the sound is subjective hence why we all hear and see things differently even though the science is objective?

The assessment based on the weight and size of Nagra devices is rather dull. It is by design...The quality and design approach to construct the Nagra devices in terms of the raw materials used and design approach is truly special. It's like comparing a fine Patek to a large Breitling or a Singer Porsche to a BMW M5 to speak your language. It's a matter of preference.

Who listens to that clown ocd? Jay, your system is comprised of quality components that I have heard from other shows whereas ocd’s system does not have the same quality of components. It’s like ocd goes out of his way to find the most unheard of brand and claims it’s the best of the best, or ocd is stuck with certain brands that will deal with him. OCD bashes everybody without a valid reason to do this.
