Been playing with the Pro Staff X for 5 months. I love it. You have to work harder around the ball, especially serves, but that’s often where gains are made. Solid racquet overall for athletic players.

I demoed the racquet, and give it the thumbs up. It's a quiet racquet compared to a few others; provides good power and accuracy serving; and I was able to slice backhand shots very smoothly with great confidence. My topspin shots kicked up pretty well too. I'm sticking with my Clash 100 though because I serve the ball so well with it, plus it's more light weight. I'm 61 yrs. old. UTR 3.9

😆 good one 👏 and yes, I doubt it. As soon as I try it I will upload….most of these new frames are just marketing crap, rarely will a new frame be fantastic 👎 time will tell

Good video thx! You mentioned this not making your top three - what are your top three? I’m a strong singles player, former junior and college, but now I’m 50 and like the old school feel but need a little help now. Thinking this or the new shift might be a good option for me. Thx!

Thanks man 👊 we are looking for the same stuff 👍 my top 3 as of right now is my Xtreme Tour customized with 5 grams in handle and 4 grams in the head. That’s the one I go to a lot. Then I have the Pure Drive Tour as the most powerful racket and easy spin but you do lose some feel. Lastly, I just added the TFight ISO 300 as my last top 3. It’s very nice feel and power and with some added weight I think that will be a winner. I haven’t tried the Shift yet but looking forward to it. But yea, you might really like this X frame, it’s also not as stiff as some of the other new frames hitting the market atm 👍

What are the main differences between the ISO series and the Pro Staff X, I am curious about these two tennis rackets recently? The ISO also has a 315g version with a 16*19 string pattern, and I noticed that their specifications are very similar except for the racket head size. Which one will you recommend?

There is extended Wilson racket in japan.Ultra tour 95 V4 endosed by Nishikori.

Hi, I used blade v6 16*19. But I realized that it's a little demanding. I'm looking for a 100 racquet with clear feedback, good forgiveness and some spin! I'm choosing between PD and Pro Staff X. Which one would you recommend? Or do you have a better suggestion? Like your video!! Come on!!

No extended Wilson's in Europe except for the Blade 104. At least not in Austria :)

You should review the Shift 315. Amazing racquet if you're an advanced player.

Been using the shift 315 for 2 months, 5.5-6.0 teaching pro. That racquet is the money stick. But I also want this Pro Staff X because it seems like I’ll be able to attack with bigger swings with a little more stability. The shift is so good though, buttery and strong is how I would describe. Great control, stable, the spin and launch angle are magnificent while you can still play a very nice low ball ground game with smooth flat shots. Feels like shooting darts around the court 🎯👍

How come you haven't reviewed the Pro Staff 97 v14, only the X? I really would like to see what you guys think..

I've never tried and havent heard anyone around here doing that. Sounds cool though! I just wish WILSON and other brands like HEAD, would do more for the different players out there that has different needs, they have no problem flooding the market with rackets but all the same length!

@@tennisviking I mean yes, they say the are the same lenght but they arent really, because the lenght of the handle is shorter compared to the throat, u know what I mean ?

@@ssportslivetvstreaming yep, and the racket feels shorter with a two hander compared to a one hander etc…my two hander always covers more than the length of the grip unless it’s an extended stick, so that’s one reason I prefer that.

We are planning on doing a review since one of our coaches plays with it and loves it….I think it’s complete trash, too big and clunky, feels gross holding it and no feel of the ball…but I’m weird so 🤷‍♂️🤣

@@tennisviking fair enough. I bought it as my first racket, and I chose it because I like the colours (matt black and red/orange). After 10 months I still play with it and I like it. To be honest at my level I can't tell much of a difference between rackets. For me they are a little bit lighter or heavier and that's about it 😆😅

Don’t like Wilson either- much better brands around.

@@tennisviking Huh. Can't say that's my experience. I'd never say a Blade, ProStaff or even Clash has a "dead" feel; ProStaffs have some of the best ball connection of any rackets (sharp contrast to the Yonex Ezones and Vcores, which have no feel). To each his own, I guess.

Pure Strike??? Talk about your garbage rackets!! The only one my local shop sees come back cracked. Only racket to cause wrist and elbow problems with 2-3 people I play with. Trash.
