I loved racing scrambles. But you have FAR more patience than I did. Was a screaming smash-and-pass guy. You got one chance to get out of my way, then the gloves came off.

I raced wilseyville in 1979,80,81,82, and the course was brutal with four river crossing, a dry creek bed full of rocks, steep drops, and like 40 to fifty riders in each group, and raining three races, there was a waterfall and a pond and the trail went along the side of the pond and I was leading the race and drifted along the water and the edge dropped off and my 79 YZ 400 disappeared under the muddy water and there was people watching from above, I was yelling and steam coming off my body and the people started backing up , there went first place

@@BeansBikesBandaids I loved racing even though I wasn't that good at it. I always had a story to tell about the race that my friends and I could laugh about. But Got stuck out in the middle of a storm on a boat one night and dam that was cold.
