He might have saved me. But. He groomed me. And he made me believe he loved me for me. No he loved me because i was young. I had it confused. It wasn’t love. It was pedophilia.

@@Janae2000 and that is YOUR truth. What I am saying that as TEENS we all think we know it all and even when our parents or older people TOLD us, we didn't listen or WANT to listen. I am sorry for whatever evil was done to you, truly I am. But 17-29 is just a song, and it's the artist interpretation of their truth. If you travel the world you'd see that older Men with younger woman is very common and in some cases cultures practice this. It becomes a problem when it solely done BECAUSE the other person has an un controlling fetish for minors. But understand that NOT EVERYONE is a "groomer ". If Wilmer's six year relationship had turned into marriage, this song would have never been written. Demi, again and again credit him for "saving her" from her drug/alcohol addiction. If I was Demi Mom and thought for a second that this Man was grooming my child, I'd be in the news all over it. I am, however glad that people who TRULY have been groomed exposed the groomers and make awareness of it. But we are not going to crucify EVERYONE when there were no harm was done. I saw a TikTok, of a girl posting a 15 guy as a "grommer" and she was 13 at the time, come on now. If he was your son, or my son, we would not be happy about that.

She said several times he made her stronger and helped her be sober and drug free. They seem like a beautiful couple but she needs to be good by herself first. Love you Demi!!!!

I don't want them to end either I have a theory that they didn't really break up that they just wanted to be private again so they staged a breakup and that's why they said they were still friends in case they get papped and it was also because they were focusing on there projects so people would ask her questions about the tour and not about Wilmer and this is what I believe even though what I truly care about is for them to be happy x
