"Don't you understand what you're saying?" My favorite part of the routine! 👍

I was a fifth grader in 1972 when I started to do ventriloquism. Willie and Lester were my inspirations. I studied hard to do what Willie did because his lip control was impeccable. In fact, I got to meet the guy who carved Lester a few years later when I went shopping as a teenager for a professional figure (which I still have). I did vent up until my mid-twenties. I might get him out again (I named him WIllie, by the way). Thank-you, Willie Tyler, for being someone who inspired me as a kid almost 11 years old at the time, to do my very best.

I remember being gifted a Lester doll for Christmas one year in the 1980s. I had a lot of fun trying my hand at the art of ventriloquism ❤

Mate he's one of the Best i ever Seen. And i am 62

The Best Ventriloquist act ever of all time. Unbelievable Gift. Wow! I grew up watching this and still amazed.

Willie is a favorite, to be sure. The likes of Mr. Tyler and Jeff Dunham have kept this great art form going.

I grew up watching Paul winchell & Jerry Mahoney but Willy tyler and Lester are my all time favorites.

Willie, saw you & Lester on The Jeffersons (rerun) the other day. Thought, man, what is this guy doing today! You are great! I remember you from back then & still great today! Bless U for the entertainment you have given me over the years.!! You're great.!

I remember Willie Tyler and Lester back in the days with other up-and-coming ventriloquists like Jay Johnson and Bob if "Soap" fame in every HBO specials.

Mr. Tyler, are you still doing the act in 2022? Wonderfully done sir!

Oh yeah he has, I saw him as a kid 54 years ago! My uncle took me, it was the first live performance of any kind I've ever seen!
