Hey, Kevin! After watching your videos my friend and I decided to change the clutch on my hyundai i 40 station wagon. Everything went according to plan, we took everything apart properly. But, when it came time to put the gearbox back, with repeated attempts to lift and put on the engine I ran out of strength, I thought I would die under the car. My friend who lifted it with the cable was also shocked, we told each other that it's not true, it's impossible! Kevin couldn't have put that gearbox on himself, it's all a video montage...! The gearbox was so heavy and awkward to install that I regretted taking it on several times. But we did it, it all worked out but with great difficulty. Thank you! Your strength is greater than two people. You're tough, mate! Cheers!

them ducato looks to be a bit of a balls of a set up . everything difficult to get at

Dam, had to remove fenders and grill! What a pita! Do you run into half shafts that won’t come out of the hub? Don’t know if rust is a problem their? Great videos!

This mini here is a limited production. 5 speed that became the limited supercharger edition. Expensive this little gem.

Putting back the gear box all by yourself while plugging back the hydrolic stuff (however you english folks call it) at the same time is quite impressive I must say, makes you pretty much supernatural actually 😅

Kevin, i have noticed that on all your transverse gearbox removals there is never any gearbox oil coming out of the driveshaft holes! Why?

I usually drain them off camera. But you can see the process for full repair videos

Mate - every clutch I’ve done as a DIY’er on my own cars has needed a slave cylinder. How do you get on with that?

Yes it happens every now and again. I pack up and drive to wherever the may have to. Sometime up to two hours. Get the correct one and finish the job. You never see it on video but it’s happened.
