I love watching Perlmans facial expressions when he plays music like this. He's off in another world where perhaps he isn't crippled. He'll be remembered as one of the very best violists. What an inspiration he is. BRAVO.

Who can't love this song especially when it is done so well as this!!! It is a truly timeless piece of music that will be as fresh and beautiful 100 years from now as it was when Carlos Gardel wrote it 75 years ago...

Beautiful, John Williams gave his touch to this tango without loosing the feeling of the original composition of Gardel... Perlman is awsome!
Oh my.. I don't know how to tango.. but I feel like dancing right now! wonderful!
masterpiece!

Gene shalit, John Williams, Perlman and Gardel ! amazing !
This is Tango + William's Harmony!! Just Great!!!!!
Perlman is absolutely incomparable!
a symbol of love
Williams is not arrogant. Everyone who know him agree to say that he is very shy and humble. 'I don't know him', it could mean anything! He does not know him personally for instance. He obviously knows him since he arranged his tango...
I belive that Perlman is the greatest violinist in the world!I love him and his playing.
Music like this makes me so happy :)
This is the most fucking unbelievable rendition of this song I've ever heard. Goosebump city.
Thats what makin love to a violin sounds like
Wow... perlman takes this piece to a whole other level... amazing.
I get to see him perform in september. So excited
Perlman again shows why he was, is, and shall be the best.
aack!! legendary john williams conducting the epic por una cabeza! i really like it!
fantastic! i saw perlman play in peoria a few years ago and he was absolutly amazing. He is really an inspiration for me. This tango shows Williams' the length of composing, rather than just for the movie themes we know him for. Even though William didnt write this piece, and the arrangment is still great.
this piece gives me goosebumps
epic. This is one of those songs that give me goose bumps. Bravo!
He makes violin become live. I feel the violin is talking with me, when I enjoy his performance. I felt my mind is totally controlled by his performance.
What an interpretation, thank you Itzak Perlman and John Williams for reviving the music of Gardel and Le Pera...and also Mozart
que violinista!!! increible....
absolutely beautiful
A Uruguayan gift to the world is that song
Super Perlman! There are no words, it's mythical ...:)Great!
Wow! They both look like they're having so much fun performing the piece. The look on Williams' face at 4:38..... lol, he looks like he's fighting the urge to dance around the stage.
Great performance. Bravo!
i love the song, and it gets better when it's played by perlam, such a legend... one of the greatest genious alive! Forever Perlman!
Gracias, maestro, que barbaro.
I thought this was great when I first heard it too. I could not understand why people would write on here that they did not like the way he played it. Then one of them suggested listening to some of the other videos and then you could hear the difference when someone does it with more passion. Wow! Were they ever right! After hearing someone else do it with more passion, you will hear the difference.

So beautifull-it hurts....
whoa...that is really nice! thanks for posting.
