This really helped me to understand the sonnet better. I was better able to put meaning to the words as a result, and it helped clarify the sonnet for me!

Shakespeare could never have foreseen this: a recreation of his inspiration using computer generated models.

Thank you I am glad that you like it. The sonnet is believed to be written to a male that he admired but I like it better with the girl. What Shakespeare is saying is that we all grow old and all beauty fades, but that his lover's beauty will live on in the sonnet. This gives life to thee. Hope that helps some.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer’s lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed; And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimmed: But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st; Nor shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st: So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.[1]

It is believed to be about a male lover. However, I took creative license with it since the words lend themself to being about anyone.

As i have explained several times............I took creativie license with it. Who cares who it was written for? It's a beautiful sonnet and could be used for both genders. Just enjoy the sonnet.

I recorded the actor's voice and just cut and spaced it as needed. The voice itself was not altered but the pacing of the words was altered slightly. Is that what you meant?
