If people voted based on policies, SDP would win. They are aligned most with how the British public think

If they could get the exposure then I think they could definitely break 4 or 5% of the vote and build on that.

William is by far the most decent and honest of the political leaders. He’s full of common sense too. Great and well thought out policies.

Excellent speech from the leader of a fast growing party whose members all want to be part of the SDP's plan for the family, the community, and the nation.

SDP have kicked out rigid ideologies and replaced it with a patriotic "let's fix it" approach to Britain's problems. (Re-industrialisation is a biggie for me) That's what's so great about them. Unfortunately there isn't a candidate in East Cornwall.

I totally agree.. I've just joined the Old Libs..to be frank it was quite hard to decide whether to join either them or the SDP.. There are somethings the SDP believe which really resonate with me.

"human quantitive easing" is an interesting way of looking at things. a very chilled delivery of the manifesto from Mr Clouston - could do with more of his sort in politics - less shouting and insulting, and more just-getting-on-with-it.

Didn’t have a candidate in the constituency I live. But had there been I’d of voted SDP. I think reform are going to do far better than the mainstream media are letting on. People are fed up of labour and the conservatives, at this point they’re the same party, Blairites with different colour ties. What we need is actual opposition.

As someone who wants what Reform offer on culture and immigration, but is put off by their low tax/no tax neoliberal economic solutions, the SDP was a welcome discovery for me. I hope that the SDP's star rises, as their manifesto is undoubtedly the best fit for this country. My only gripe is the prioritising of social housing for married couples. I understand the reasoning, but there should also be a provision for single citizens also. As a single person, you pay a premium for renting and buying (no one to split costs with), so hopefully they won't be deprioritised as a rule.

Im in burnley and dont think ive ever had the chance to vote for the SDP. This year there is an independent candidate who used to be in the SDP, I will be voting for him. Ive only really just looked into the party as I knew nothing about them, but their policies are near enough perfect for me. They dont seem to get any air time or mentioned anywhere really, which is a shame as i really think a lot of normal working people would find them very appealing. And the leader seems to be the best of all the party leaders.

It’s such a shame people are voting for reform because of immigration / colonisation but don’t necessarily realise reform are free market maniacs as well

Thank you for sharing. This woke society we now all live in, is in my opinion due to most people turning their backs on the righteous right-rulings of God/Christ in the Bible'. Christ Jesus - (Yahusha in Hebrew) teaches us in : Matthew 7:12, “Therefore, whatever you wish men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law (Instructions from God the Father) and the Prophets. How to Love God & others, & be pleasing in God's eyes according to the Bible : 1 John 5 : 2 - 5, 2, By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and follow His commandments. 3, For this is the love of God (His will), that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4, For whatever is born of God (Elohim in Hebrew) overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith. 5, Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus (Yahusha) is the Son of God ? 1 John 3 - 4, Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. (without keeping God's laws in your life). For God's (Yah's) Just & Loving commandments that bring blessings to those who keep them; please see : Exodus 20 : 1-17, Micah 6: 8, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 22 : 34 - 40, & Galatians 5 : 22-24, - (for the fruits of the Spirit that keep the laws of God/Yah). Faith is the Root - Obedience is the 'Good Fruit' of our Faith in Christ, see : John 15 : 1-6, Christ Jesus - Yahusha tells us to “Repent of our sins and believe in Him, to turn back to Yah - God the Father, for the blotting out of our sins, and to learn of Him the Messiah, see : (Matthew 11:27-30); And to walk in the Fathers way's of right-rulings and blessings as He did, see : (1John 2: 6-7), for He does not change; He is the same yesterday, today & forever, see : (Malachi 3:6, & Hebrews 13:8) King Solomon the son of King David, who asked God for the gift of wisdom said this, in : Ecclesiastes12 :13-14, After all is said and heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God (Yah) and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14, For God-Yah will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Micah 6 :8, what does God want of His people, He has told us in 'His Word' - to Act Justly, Love Mercy, and to walk humbly before Him. Remember : Faith is the Root - Obedience is the 'Good Fruit' of our Faith in Christ, see : John 15 : 1-6, I hope these scriptures are helpful to you & all who read them; Shalom' (Peace) 🕊💕

Look, to all the people who have replied to what I said, I also like William Clouston. I think he is a good leader and would make a great statesman. However, I don't think it is impossible to be a good (even charismatic) public speaker while still being honest and authentic. I also don' think having good policies and asserting them energetically are mutually exclusive. I stand by what I said originally. Especially during an election campaign you need to present yourself with a little bit more passion and energy than giving a speech in the middle of a party conference.
