Should've saved the right rear instead of jumping out to over a second lead. Byron ran Joey in the fence so Joey punted his ass. That's how racing works. Hendrick boys will always cry when they get touched but have no issue moving guys. Good win for the #22.

Not trying to be bias but as slow as Byron was going I think Logano could've easily passed him cleanly, no need to put someone in the wall and make them finish 13th Edit: Logano is Logano, he'll do this to anyone to win

When a win means you're in. This is going to happen. Now Lagano is in the Championship at the end of the year. It's not about being consistent and finishing very race for the points at the end like it use to be. It's who gets lucky at the right time. This format sux. No other divisions championship is determined this way and they do just as well. Can this BS nascar.

@Thomas 🇺🇸 I think the whole respect aspect of this situation has grown wings and flown away. Champion or not gives him any baseline standard of automatically being bestowed with respect is no different than handing out participation trophies, you earn respect and what happened on the last lap is not respect worthy at all. He will get dumped like Kenseth did at Martinsville to him, wait and see.

@Thomas 🇺🇸 He's a Hendrick driver. If he as William Byron, driver of Jeff Gordon's 24 takes out Joey Logano, an already controversial driver, he'd probably gain more fans, and I'm sure the drivers who have had run-ins with a Logano bump n' run would be pretty indifferent to the ordeal. I think the only time it would matter and lose the respect people have for him is if he was somehow knocked out of the playoffs and then decided to ruin Logano's playoff run afterwards.
