It's so great to see how things have changed... I was a huge fan of The Academy Is... for a long time but today I listen to other kind of music. It's definitely true what a person on the comments said, I have too much respect for William Beckett. He has a beautiful family and I am glad he's still inspiring me right now after watching the video. So much memories.

Having been a TAI... fan since Almost Here came out, and watching the band and Bill mature into the people they are now, it makes me so happy and proud to be a part of their fanbase. They're wonderful people and they inspire me greatly.

william beckett is... perfection. well, i can't actually say/assume that, but the more i learn about him, the more i respect him. he's incredibly friendly, nice and humble. you can really see that he loves music and his fans. you can tell how much he loves his family too. even just yesterday, a girl i know met him backstage and wished him a happy father's day; he talked about and showed her pics of his daughter. he's truly inspirational in so many ways. definitely one of my most fav people ever.

And the EP’s honesty charmed me in a very simple way. It flooded me with the feeling of that sunshine happiness at the end of a fall evening, or playing with my dogs at the garden or swimming in the ocean with my friends when I was 14. And I felt guilty for blaming William.

brb crying right now. so perfect. so inspiring. TAI has played such a big part in my life and i am honored to call myself a fan. so excited for WB and what is yet to come. aaaand this video was absolutely adorable. love the "yike" at the end.

He had the courage of doing what no one does and what lacks in music the most. He, amongst a very few others (I can use The Maine here as one of the very few examples), had the courage of making music with his heart, and not with his pocket or for the status of it. He had the courage to restart and do something completely different from what he was expected to do by everyone. No record deal, no label.

So, I just watched this, and I need to write... Ever since The Academy Is… broke up, last year, I tried not to think about it that much. I cried, and I was sad for a week or so, but after that, I tried not to think, I just let it go. Of course that, everytime I heard the band, I felt that little pain in my heart, and that feeling that I’ll never be able to watch them performing live, and stuff like that.

This is just precious. I've been a fan of yours for around 6 years and have met you twice but I never got the chance to tell you how amazingly talented and admirable you are as a person as well as a musician. I can't wait to see you perform your new songs! BTW, YAY! JACK THE CAMERA GUY! :)

I admit that I was angry. Especially at William Beckett. I know that the decision of ending the band came from all of them, but, to me, it was a decision that came mostly from William. And I was angry at him for a long time. And, when the previous of “Compromising Me” came out, I was even angrier, cause I hated it. And I listened to that first minute and something and I didn’t even want to listen to the rest of it. And when “Walk The Talk” was released, I didn’t listen to it, either.
