I support your intentions, and wish them a long and healthy life. But... King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Prince of Orange and Nassau. The family name 'van Oranje-Nassau' cannot be directly connected with his title as King because he is not King of Orange, but of the Netherlands. His brother can be called Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, of Orange and Nassau, because he is prince of both.

I think how very boring these State Visits must be. It is showing respects for the armed forces and to reaffirm certain special affinities with family even distant. Queen Maxima is a Superb Lady,with endless qualities to be admired. As is Her husband whom we have seen grow up into . A prominent King both very popular and loved in Holland. I follow all the financial social schemes she puts in place in underdeveloped countries over the years . Dreary old Charles and CPB. what a difference

I agree except on the latter statement. Charles and Camilla do good and travel enormously under the Crown platform, that means something under going ---bilateral connection and business opportunities.

You cannot say people are dreary, when we don’t really know anything about there private life, these things must be so boring to do time and time again, it’s a life of duty that would drive my nuts, so for them to do it and be constantly criticised because they cannot do right from wrong must be quite disappointed. They have no freedom of life like we do, they have money but it doesn’t bring happiness, unless you can spend it as you like. And most of what they have belongs to the crown, which is not them personally.

Pourquoi tant de haine ? Si Charles est heureux avec elle, c'est l'essentiel. Elle n'est pas une beauté, je vous l'accorde, mais elle est très sympathique. Quoi qu'il en soit, Charles n'aurait jamais du épouser Diana, il ne l'aimait pas et ils n'avaient rien en commun (hormis leurs deux fils)

Very nice but.. a SCANDAL that is was not life on television, not on the Dutch channels (NL1 a cook show, NL2 a house programme and NL3 a cartoon) nor on the BBC. What use is such a visit if nobody knows about it !

I totally agree with you, I’m British & even I dnt remember seeing this footage, what’s the point in state visit if your not going to show it. I’m old fashioned & like to know these things as I love history & think the younger generation don’t know that most of Europe are related to each other & what better way than giving a little background to these visits & our children & grandchildren have a better understanding of our relationship’s with other royalty
