The only way I could ever see final seasons of GX and 5DS getting dubbed is if they did some massive collection box like they did with Duel Monsters and wanted those to help boost sales, and even then that isn’t very likely.

I think that you are right in some ways. But I still believe there is a market for it. Even if they think it is not. Well when they did the box set of Yugioh. Someone who loves the series. And willing to invest.

Pretty sure no. They had many chances to bring back the cast for dubbing like 5ds movie with paradox having Jaden in it years after gx stopped and then arc v Alexis and aster so they had opportunity over the years to do it. Same with 5da final season as jack came back in arc v same as crow so the actors were still willing to play the Yu-Gi-Oh characters when called upon. And that's not even counting duel link where so many come back to make simple voice lines and for a gacha game after so many years of doing the anime.

@@phitowns even up to duel links they had all the VA back to play rolls as well. Gx they could have done it while 5ds they had the whole issue with money laundering which cut 5ds short. Also I did not expect this post to be so popular as I wrote it late yet many people agree with my guess using facts over the years. But yeah I wish we could at least see Yugi vs Jaden and yusie vs jack dubbed as the last episodes

That ending of Gx broke my heart when I was a kid. Seeing Jaden fuse with Yubel as a way of atoning for what he put Yubel through; and it broke my heart again when I found out that that wasn't the true ending years later. The only little of hope/conciliation I have is when the voice actor for Jaden reprised his role for Jaden/Yubel in Duel Links, with that notably different, older and almost sadder tone . It's like a brief glimpse into what could've been; and I'm not going to lie, it makes me quite sad to hear Jaden's older voice and thinking of how the show didn't get a proper send off.

I would personally love it if they made an adaptation of the original series that was more faithful to the original manga. While I doubt it will ever happen, the fact that the Dark Side of Dimensions movie was based in the manga continuity makes me wish they would do that one day.

I really don't see why they couldn't have. They'd censored far worse things in the past, and Darkness/Nightshroud is no worse than Bakura when it comes to motivation.

It would only be worth dubbing Season 4 if it’s left uncut. 4K got a lot of the old VA’s to return for the Arc V dub and Duel Links so they probably wouldn’t have to do many recasts.

If they made a season four dub it would still have the same voice actors doing the same voices as well as the localize names as they have to keep consistency with the previous seasons.

4Kids didn't dub Season 4 of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX mainly because 4Kids felt they needed to move onto Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's because KONAMI was already pushing sales on these Cards for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's that were coming out for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game and so because of this 4Kids decided that they weren't gonna dub Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anymore....that's what I understood.

At least we got Season 4 Jaden in Duel Links! Matthew Charles even changed his speaking tone to reflect Jaden's more mature outlook. He has voice lines for various characters that reference Season 4 (like having to save Sartorius or meeting the Pharaoh). There have also been a few events that also reference Season 4, like the Alexis Tag Duel. I wonder how the English version of the game will handle it if they ever add a Season 4 exclusive character (like Fujiwara).

Companies dont like people using IP they own. It hardly ever has to do with them having future plans for it.

YuGiOh dubs always get some short end of the stick after the original...especially with broadcasting. GX: season 4 never dubbed. 5Ds: season 5 never dubbed...well the second half I think Zexal: Dub stopped airing on tv midway through season 5(it finished on Hulu) and was the last Saturday Morning show aired on channel 11/Vortexxx Arc V: Season 3 and 4 were skipped airing on tv and the dub just had to go to season 5 and 6 with no air time. VRAINS: dub hasn’t even aired in America SEVENS: I’m scared.

Sailor Moon season 5 never got an English dub until now. They’ve been re dubbing the entire series and rereleasing it remastered. I suppose it’s too early to do a similar thing for GX.

I can see an anime film studio doing a GX Epilogue movie, like they did with Dark Side of Dimensions, and that would probably get them to dub Season 4 so that people can watch it and have context to the movie.

What bothers me the most is that due to 4K Media having the rights, other countries cannot continue their dub in theor language. For example here in Germany we wanted to dub the final Season of GX and 5Ds just recently but we cant just because we have no rights, that means that they stopped the whole dub production in the west with that...

I´m super dissapointed by that, even though the sub is great but I grew up with the dub and now it feels like that a part of my childhood didnt get his peace if you know what I mean :/

I am amazed no group of fans have gotten together and just done a fan dub of gx season 4. If I knew what I was doing I would so do it just for the fans.

Just want a blu-Ray box set for Yugioh GX sub season 1-4

After the 5D's era and that whole lawsuit 4Kids went through with TV Tokyo there is absolutely no way they're going back to do anything before Zexal era

After seeing this, Its basically this: Corp: Nobody will dub this season except us! Fans: Oookaay, so then will you dub it? Corp: No. Fans: 😑😑😑 I can see Corp's logic in the fact that if a fandub makes money and THEY aren't getting a piece of it, that is bad for them (plus all the legal issues). But if the Corp's arent doing anything with it, a fandub would please those that were waiting for it. Its this whole issue that plagues Anime and Video Games (in terms of hacks and original projects with ideas that corps wont do)

To put it bluntly, GX is a "Ghost of the Past". They no longer have the power to move forward towards the future. It's a miracle Clone Wars got another season but never considered GX and 5D's to be given such treatment.

the O N L Y way i can see them ever going back to dub s4 is if like, as an anniversary special they went back and like ReDubbed the old yugioh shows without all the censors for the older audience as like a limited release thing, but i dont think that's likely as cool as it would be

It could definitely happen - if they choose to remaster Yu-Gi-Oh! (DM, GX, 5Ds). That would be a huge selling point for people to go out and buy the remasters. If enough people persistently ask for it, they will do it - as it stands, a lot of people are still asking for it, however, I don't think it's enough. I know these series are really comparable with Yu-Gi-Oh! GX but after 20 years, Dragon Ball (since GT) got another series with Dragon Ball Super and Bleach has its final arc being animated as we speak ten years after the fullbring arc. It can definitely happen when the right opportunity calls for it, and I think a Yu-Gi-Oh! remaster will eventually come.

To be fair though the GX dub was just crazy in some episodes. I have so many questions for Sean schemmel on that topic alone lol

I think they should dubbed season 4 so that everyone knows how it ended. Also the money could be issue but you don't want to keep wondering or asking yourself on season 4 of yu-gi-oh gx being dubbed. In my opinion I think u should dubbed it so that fans will be happy and know who will the series will end

Heck if they can bring the voice actors together for Duel Links, I feel like it wouldn’t be too hard or unprofitable to get them together to dub this season. #DubYugiohGXSeason4

Cause in JP it's like feminine then switches to a more masculine tone. The only chance the final season of GX or lost episodes of 5Ds get dubbed is if they become hits on Tubi. The one random non-Sevens thing that could get created and then dubbed is if Konami decides to make R as a anime miniseries in a manga only timeline like DSOD.

Don't forget 5DS Konami was Greedy For Going After Team Millennium for That. They should've still fandub it. If they even Own the Rights they should've went back and dub it After Arc-V's ending

I personally doubt 5ds ever getting its dub completed, even if gx somehow got the same treatment. It is pretty much just a bad memory of the past with the stacking of controvercies, the production being a mess(Though that counts for arcv and vrains too, which is why the studio changed now afterall)and how 4kids lost the rights to it and was kicked out but then just later showed up for zexal anyways because of a legal loophole in the contractual work.

Not related news, a new Nasca Line that is shaped like a cat is discovered. The human history itself wants new Earthbound Immortal monsters it seems.

I suppose they could dub it and release it as a binge watch on Netflix and release a GX mini booster set with some good reprints and newer cards like Neos Fusion and soon to be released Neos Kruger card which is a fusion of neos and yubel.

I watched yugioh gx the first time about 5 years ago, and I seen a KZread video saying Jaden died. Then I remembered bonds beyond time (favorite yugioh movie) Jaden is alive, and seen the 4th season is only in original japanese. Which I'm 23 years old, still playing the card game, still watching yugioh mainly gx. And it's sad that we might never get the 4th season of yugioh gx

It does suck that season 4 will never get dubbed. But is there hope for a Yugioh GX movie? Still keep up the great work 👍

I feel as if the most likely movie if they actually wanted to go back after the studiochange would be a bonds beyond dimension-movie including the newer stuff. Because it would be a good way to continue marketing rushduels while also getting arcv and vrains back on the good side of the opinions of the fanbase. Pushing the sales of old stuff while supporting the new stuff that is actually relevant right now.

@@The___Tony Beyonds Beyond Time was more of a 5Ds movie than it was a DM or GX movie. It literally starts off in 5Ds, introduces a character from 5Ds as the main villain tampering with time (like the rest of the robot copies of the group from Z-ONE's apocalyptic future), and was actually canon to 5Ds. Yusei even uses a fusion card because he was inspired by Jaden's fusion strategy. If it's profitable enough and paves the way for more support for archetypes/decks like Stardust and Blackwings for example, there's no reason they wouldn't do it. It really isn't that far-fetched.

It honestly sucks the last season didn't get dubbed because I can't thoroughly compare it with the sub. The ending for the dub was so abrupt it didn't feel like one.

I think they should keep it subbed only for for season 4, it is truly the best unaltered It made such an impact on me how Judai or Jaden changed from season 3 to season 4 from all trauma and psychological torture he went through in these two seasons

If I was rich I would personally fund the dubbing of Yu-Gi-Oh GX season 4

Regardless of if it happens I would actually love to see it. Ignoring the questionable writing and censorship, alot of the voices fit the characters great. Maybe as part of a future anniversary they could go back and dub it and the 5ds final season as part of a larger scale project like another cross over movie. Do I see that happening ? Probably not but it's fun to speculate and wish.

Dylan inspires me to believe in the yugioh community and work hard to convince konami to release the final season of gx dub for a Blue-ray release or believe in a Gx Remake base of the manga amazing video you rock dyl🤘💯 for being honest

I feel like I'm about to cry, Yugioh GX is my favorite Yugioh series and I've only watched the dubs up to this point. (Note: I'm probably going to go through the Yugioh series someday and watch all of them in order with English subs)

Unfortunately, while Konami Cross Media (then known as 4Kids entertainment Inc) had the rights to dub the series in the past, it's unknown whether they still have the license to do so. I personally would LOVE to see a dub of season 4, but then again, we've been dreaming about that for the better part of a decade, so I guess we'll have to wait a little longer if they do decide to finally dub it.

I mean..it...it could still happen...but it is clear why KONAMI Cross Media will not go back and finish the Rest of GX. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is currently Licensed by them...that includes Season 4 so they SHOULD be able to Dub Season 4 right?...no offense.

I just want another anime with REGULAR DUELING

I can only see them dubbing them for older fans by releasing the final season for GX and 5DS on a streaming platform as an exclusive, like Netflix exclusive, Amazon exclusive etc. I feel that would work for them as surely they know how many people are eager to finish both shows

It would only happen if some one else gets the dub rights and goes all the way through it

Do you know? Here where I live in Italy the forth season was actually dubbed... Some seasons got dubbed without the "4k base" ...the final season of gx and 5ds and the first of zexal were dubbed and were very faithful to the original source material and because of that they were awesome to watch.... When I saw the first episode of zexal and saw the "real" cards without censoring... They were left in japanese probably because editing them was too wasteful in terms of time and money... I remember thinking "wow, amazing, finally they show how they REALLY look like"

COULD it ever happen? I think so. Obviously I don't know the ins and outs of the business side of things but nostalgia is a hell of a money maker. If they sell a limited time collector's DVD set or some one-time merchandise along with it and make sure they don't print too much so all stock actually sells, I can see them making their money back. WILL it ever happen? Nah, probably not. No offense to anyone working there but Konami's business practices haven't been the smartest in recent years. It's like they're allergic to money and I'm not saying I don't understand, anime and gaming are niche markets and it's sometimes hard to make your money back. But when was the last time a YGO dub got actual some-what big attention? The Dark Side of Dimensions. I think it COULD be worth it to dub GX S4, but I don't think they have the will to take a risk or the care to market it properly.

You're definitely right lol nostalgia will DEFINITELY help boost sales if they released ESPECIALLY uncut yugioh dub for a special event including anniversary to attract older fans back to yugioh series I don't understand why they can't do it What's interesting is 4kids ACTUALLY tried to do uncut dub of original yugioh series but they stopped after releasing 9 episodes & they didn't release the 3rd DVD lol I don't understand what's the delay maybe licensing issues but I don't understand that again releasing uncut dub GOOD quality DVDs of yugioh will DEFINITELY attract older fans lol I think people will appreciate this

If they did (as unlikely as it would be), I want just *_one_* thing: When Syrus beats the Jinzo duelist, I want Zane to affectionately say "Dueling skills _and_ the looks. Wonder what's left for me?" in the end. Outside of that, I expect the typical 4Kids censorship. EDIT: I just remembered that I'd also want a brand new music track for the Jaden/Judai vs. Yugi/Yami duel.

It’s really weird to think about, because I vividly remember the Honest Duel Spirit in an English dub episode of GX, but maybe it’s one of those mandala type deals where I only thought it existed as a kid and got it mixed up with something else.

Season 4 should happen on worldwide streaming! If not, things are gonna get crazy!

It better not be 4Kids if that happens than the last part of 5D'S is getting Dub and oh god

It’s a crime they can’t dub GX season 4 and 5ds final season cause they both had important episodes and duels: Chazz Princeton beat Aster Phoenix, Yugi vs Jaden, Z-One vs Signers and combined emperors, Jack Atlas vs Yusei Fudo final match to name a few! I guarantee if all of us fans did a patreon or go fund me to raise money for a dub GX and 5ds final seasons it will get done cause I think every year the Yugioh franchise gains millions of fans!!

It doesn’t make sense as to why they would dub it now so no it won’t happen so people who think it will happen open your eyes to the truth that it will never ever be dubbed ever.

@@craftingtablegaming6311 Trying to make a fan made dub of season four of GX will just be copy righted and it won’t be liked by many if it happened to be fan dubbed so no point in doing it.

Even though the cease and desist thing is understandable because GX rightfully belongs to Konami, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed knowing we’ll never get a fandub because of that. This applies to getting a fandub of the final season of 5Ds as well. I just can’t help but be frustrated because like, if you’re not going to touch those old seasons ever again what’s the point just sitting in it when the community is willing to share?

At this point it's never going to happen just like how we will never get the uncut dub of Duel Monsters to return. Why they didn't treat each Yugioh the way they did with the uncut dub? Imagine where we would be right now had that was how Yugioh was in America.

I’m still holding onto my hope that one day the dub of season 4 of GX will happen, if they put it on DVD it’ll sell like crazy since it’s so long overdue. Plus if you watch the dub of GX season 3 and then Bonds Beyond Time it makes no sense on how Jaden comes back.

Actually 4Kids and 4K Media (now Konami Cross Media) are not the same 4K Media is actually a subsidiary company for 4Kids (in other words a type of “parent” company), they’re not the same they actually help them from time to time but they’re not really that important...and after 4Kids went bankrupt and completely shut down, the Yu-Gi-Oh English Dub rights went to the subsidiary company 4K Media. Sure their names sound a little a like, but 4Kids and 4K Media (now Konami Cross Media)? Completely different companies ------------------ 4Kids dubbed YuGiOh DM, POL, GX, 5D’s, and some of Zexal (Ep. 1-24) before their bankruptcy 4K Media dubbed the rest of Zexal (25-146), Arc-V, DSOD, and VRains

Honestly season 4 of GX is one of my favourite seasons of all Yu-Gi-Oh shows

Would be a nice refresher on like 4KidsTV for sure if they brought them back late at night with the last seasons dubbed

I had my hopes up that they might dubbed the final season of GX when they included the final two duels from that series in Legacy of the Duelist as DLC for the English version (Jaden's duel with Nightshore and Yugi), but I guess that'll be the closest the dub will ever get to season 4 of GX. Same with the final few episodes of 5D's that also didn't get dubbed

Is there at least subbed (Japanise) version of season 4 available somewhere on KZread?... Because I searched and couldn't find that either... I think I only found the sixth ep. of the fourth season on daily motion, but no others.

As much as I would love to see the season 4 of gx, I can understand why they won't dub season 4. Same goes for 5DS. I 100% think gx season 4 would have been a great season. Great video and keep up the great work 👍.

I actually e-mailed them to ask them if they planned on finishing dubbing GX, they actually gave me some vague answers

The 4th season of GX was what got me to watch anime subbed. I thought if I couldn't see it dubbed then, I'll have to see the original source material. Also, I wouldn't mind if GX got the a movie continuation like Dark Side of Dimension which is a stretch but would be pretty cool and a good reason to dub the final season.

They could just do a DvD and Blue Ray release for Season 4 Dub of GX. Its honestly sad that they didn't finished GX and just went straight to Dubing 5Ds and again not finishing 5Ds either for Dub. They should just complete it all for DvD and Blue Ray release. They would get a lot of money too because it would be a shock to many of both sides. People who been wanting Season 4 GX being Dub and people who only watch Dub. These two factors can be a big profit.

The only way I can see this happening for the dubbing of season 4 and the final season of 5ds as well is if they do what they did for star wars the clone wars season 7, release it on some paid platform like Disney + and having the yugioh fans base spam konami pushing them to dub season 4 but this is unlikely..

Many people could utilize those same points to dubbing the rest of Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. Also, it'd require some redubbing to ret-con a few details of storyline, like how Jack got Red Nova.

There has to be a fandub of Season 4 of Yu-gi-oh GX! I want to see that because I'm a HUGE Yu-gi-oh fan, and I got lots and LOTS of Yugioh cards and DVDs!! I want to see a fandub of season 4 of Yu-gi-oh GX! Make it happen!
