@@FishSticker it still holds true. There are times I see Will Wood in older performances and he doesn't look happy. This isn't one of them. He is an artist and he enjoys his art, otherwise he wouldn't do it. The discomfort he expresses in Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and Half-Decade Hangover are mostly in regards to his fame and his fans, not the actual act of making music.

If you make your voice light and airy enough, you can sing in a head voice type placement. But once you have that, then you sing it through your throat (sorry for saying this 11 months too late but I hope I could be of assistance :)
