Every game was competitive and interesting, but if the Mavs had Lively this series would've been OVER. They barely beat them without him, and he's a key piece, especially defensively and rebounding, as well as catching lobb dunks.

Acho the last person rockin that haircut in 2014 that cut was the waveeee

Minnesota caught a break with the Lively injury. This would have been a sweep but it seems like he’s a go for game 5. Bottom line is Luka plays better on the road in the playoffs than he does at home home avg 33/9/9 which is absurd. I trust Luka/Kai more than I do Ant/KAT in the clutch. Also, Dallas have not lost consecutive games in the postseason this year which it’s important to remember.

@@MAITREESEE023Luka was better at his age. If the wolves had 22 year old Luka and Mavs had 25 year old Edwards the wolves would be up in this series. Yes Edwards is good, but he is not Luka good. Even on defense I believe he’s good with on ball defense, but his defensive IQ outside of that is relatively average whereas I see Luka having the exact opposite on defense. Average on ball defense with a relatively high defensive IQ as you almost always see him getting the right reads, right rotations, and generally keeping up with everything happening on the court outside his vision. The Mavs have to win the rebounding battle especially defensively. Take care of the basketball. Luka needs to play off the ball more and needs to be in the mid, post or pinch post somewhere in that area where he can get a higher percentage shot. Kyrie needs to be the point guard and at the top of the key because he can push the tempo on a make or miss.

Outside of Acho and even James Jones. When it comes to Shady and Joy I've never heard anyone in sports media that knows less about basketball than these 2. They should worry less about looking good and being cool and actually get better that their jobs. It's pathetic they are this bad

mn played horribly in all three losses and almost won, using your logic, Wolves win series - mn by 45 in game 5 (same outcome as against Denver Game 6), takes game 6 and hello game 7 - good luck, they were down 18 away against the defending champs, came back and won - again, these kids have experience, been there, they set the record for being up 20, lost lead, up 20 lost game in the playoff vs Memphis - all I'm saying is watch out, these kids are growing in confidence in not getting rattled - Dallas had a closeout and choked, plain n simple, this series is just starting boys

I also have an issue with the outcome dictating the narrative. If at the end of game 2 Luka doesn't make that three or Naz took a couple inches off his three at the buzzer, the narrative is quite different about the Wolves not having an answer for this or that or not matching up well against the Mavs. Everyone would be talking about this being such an evenly matched series.

Good for you. AE is a great player and deserves to get his flowers. Jokic said it during their series and Luka said it last night. Kyrie also said it in one of his post game interviews this series.

From a historical perspective the series is over however I just want to see more games. Who wants wait a week to watch the finals. Let this thing go to 7 then we get the finals with the Mavs vs Boston. It would be great for the league.

Minnesota got desperate to win one game because they didn't want to get Swept by Dallas, but just remember, Dallas only need just one game to move on to the Finals. Game five will be crucial, fouls and turnovers has to be avoided by both teams. If lively comes back, wolves will definitely have to put a body on him when blocking out the boards and posting up on the blocks. Wolves got to get kat going and have Anderson continued his work in this series, McDaniels will explode on both ends of the court; reid and gobert & the bench will show up.
