Dam that is going to be a sweet ride. She sounds great. She will smoke bad if she has any old fuel in it. But it won’t hurt to take care of the injectors. Just piece of mind. Not to many people run tall rubber anymore. Can’t wait for the next video. Thank you

Before I put injectors in it I would run the overhead and set the intake and exhaust valves correctly I bet that will clear most if not all of that smoke up

Back in 1993 I drove a Freightliner cabover for a guy who had trucks leased on to Roadway Package System running from NJ to Fla to PA and back to NJ weekly. He had those phones installed in the five trucks he ran with them.

The straps are to hold the hood up because it won’t open all the way with that bumper it have on it, so they will come off once I fix that and she smokes because it needs injector nozzles. Thanks for watching

To move those tanks have you sprayed any crawl spray which is better then wD on the tank hanger bolts

Oh yeah they have to be sprayed, I normally use liquid wrench but I’m out. I was going to try heating them up a lil but haven’t got around to it.

nice work when do you clean out the rest of that garbage on it and the Dash, that looks like some sort of liquid got spelled all over BTW. did you checked your roof cap for rust?

No rust in the roof that I have seen so far and I think someone tried to do some fiber glass work on the dash. I will redo or replace it oneday

Nothing wrong with doing a bit of tinkering , not everything has to be filmed it’s coming together slowly but surely

yes I did I replaced the old slave valve with newer style and it worked perfect

what kind of impact are you using

It’s the ridgid octane 1/2 impact with the 1500 lbs of torque, it’s the older model. I don’t think the newer ones are as strong.
