KAi injectors are great for $200- ev14 Ford factory units. So excited to see this thing one step closer to ripping!

If we decide to run E85, we’ll definitely consider that. Stock should be plenty for what we’re doing.

Wow starts right up. Sounds smoother than my stock ECU bro!! Holy crap! Lol. So the permanent fix is to just swap to the other alternator?

What trigger wheel are you using? Factory or 36-2? Glad it got resolved. Time for another alternator!

36-2! And the new alternator showed up today haha.
Why the need for a non-stock trigger wheel, is it for better resolution? This is of particular interest to me, as I have an ECU on order from BeerMoney for my VVT swapped 95 R Package. Thanks, and see you guys @ MATG.

Yeah that’s really it. Better resolution means better control for things like VVT activation.

I have an 1.8 VVT in the engine stand to start to prepare for a turbo. I am not sure about the ECU to get. Between this one and the Megasquirt, what do you recommend?

how did you wire up the flat top manifold??

It just bolts on like factory because it is factory.
So there is probably nothing wrong with the RX-8 injectors.

Probably not, but they’re notoriously not great and without a need for bigger injectors, it’s not worth it.
I’m going to change the Rad Cowls name to Tool Holder.
