A lot of people say that oil pressure is what blows the seals on the deere axle. Bolt on hooks sell vented oil dipsticks that will keep the pressure relieved.

I asked JD about that when I was first investigating fixing it and they claimed the 2032R had a vent in the center of the axle... I've not personally found it and did do some research on the vented dipstick... May just end up getting one because this repair is going to exceed $750... not happy about that... Thanks for the tip!

I think its great that you are showing all the options. why spend more on a tool if something less expensive will do the job just as well.

Yes, time will tell. I've spent my career in marketing and branding alone raises the price even if the product is equal. JD has done a wonderful job with marketing and has a reputation that allows them to charge a premium. Nothing against JD as I bought due to the reputation... now I get to see how it compares. Most never get that opportunity so i'm going to have fun with it.

I think it really boils down to parts availability and who can service it.

@@jimmcknight3021 agree this is a major consideration. Solis has partnered with one of the largest part’s distributors in the US, named Carswell. Have met folks from there and they are solid. Solis is claiming 24-48 hrs on parts and service will be performed by the dealerships. Time will tell but with 140 countries and counting they are doing something right.

Unfortunately just a few hundred pounds in a loader bucket will often exceed the front axle maximum weight capacity on a lot of tractors even if it can lift 3-4 times that.

Yeh, i wonder if that is what happened on my Deere that led to the seal blow out... The Solis boasts a heavy duty front axle, not something I've seen others talk about... only time will tell... i'm not big on maxing out the lift capacity, my terrain is too hilly and uneven.
