By the way, a lot of the muck in the pond was surely from "offloads" by the ducks and geese. But with the wind you have and the surrounding dust, much of the muck was from that as well!

The dye is safe for animals. I had a white goose for a long time. She was blue one summer for a few days!

Hi Erin, great vid. I usually get push notifications from this channel (like i did for this vid) and always watch when I do. I feel like there must have been one I missed here so apologies if this unsolicited advice has already been tried but... I'm a water professional, and it sounds like the pond was getting nasty on you? Have you tried lime? It will help with oder control and grow healty bacteria, that will break down the ducks waste. especially with the addition of the bubbler. The bacteria will also make excellent soil amendment byproduct. That and a minimal amout of chlorine and you'd have a totally self sustaing source of extra compost. Sorry if this has already been tried.

Feed them ducks some beans and you got your own bubbler that’ll never break down.

I wish there was a better way of making the duck pond cleaner or easily maintainable. Like if there is a bio organism that can eat the duck waste. But then you wouldn't have any compostable bi products for your garden. 🤔
