They tell us to make our own quest when the AI chips and spawners are so horribly buggy that I have to use CV1 to spawn AIs in for stuff

Real. It takes up so much ink just to spawn one goblin. And then adding circuits to every mob. It’s very annoying

I'd personally challenge the quest checkpoint idea, unless it was implemented in such a way that kept the leaderboard from filling with people that could afford to pay their way through the quest dozens of times, instead of people that were actually doing it legitimately.

Yes they will, RecRoom is waiting for the player count to drop down, then they will release another quest, that is all I know...

They added that tmnt quest which has a boss has multiple levels and weapons unique to it and can be found in the rec center which verifies it as a quest and since they has a whole quest team I think mid 2025 or early 2026 we'll get something whether it's a whole quest a trailer and announcement or just them telling us about the future of quests

I wish they give us a new quest 😭🤚

FR i joined rec room on a def account 8 months ago! and i made a new account the current one 5 months ago and i almost have everything exept crimson and black scallywag in isle

“Churning out activities that are rated the highest by our community isn’t a sustainable business model for us” that’s what I’m hearing and it sucks man. The quests are what roped me into the game to begin with 7 years ago…

i hope we can atleast get quests like what TMNT did with the trials of TMNT. just sponsored quests. so its a win for rec room because they get money from sponsorship, its a win for the sponsors because some people will have a eye on them, and its also a win for the players because they will have a quest to enjoy. but I hope those sponsored quests will be out forever.

Trials of TMNT is great and id love to see more like it but ITS SO LAGGY. When/if they make a new one I really hope it's playable.

Bro they need a new quest like a tycoon quest would be kinda cool I don't rlly play the quest so it kinda sucks!

I’ll care about creator maps when they can actually have items you can collect in them playing a quest that u make and once u beat it you get nothing in return so it ain’t fun to play them lol

Valuation doesn't necessarily correlate to money they actually have; it's a similar deal with Spotify being valued in the tens of billions, while they've still never actually been profitable.

I think another thing that's important to mention is that rec room doesn't have good tools for custom ai, sure you can do it but it's very complicated and it takes up a lot of resources so you're kind of forced to use built in enemies like goblins which isn't very fun from a creative standpoint. That's probably the reason we haven't seen much community quests.
