All respect to Vessel. His tone and technique are perfect. But somehow Will manages to tug at the heartstrings in a way that makes me connect with the song that much more. And Nick does a brilliant job at delivering the instrumental part.

I like Will's version. It's nice!!! And of course I respect him !!! It's nice to hear how he puts his own style on this song! But nothing can compares with the depth and emotion of Vessel's voice, in my opinion. He is so unique and gives you his soul in each and every note ! Anyway! I would love to see a collab Vess+ Will ❤

the fanned frets are so you can have multiple scale lenghts of the strings for optimal tension. especially in low tuned 7-8 strings

the fan fret is to get better tension for the lower strings and better intonation just like a grand piano has a very long part on the left for low notes and very short on the right for the high notes

finally, someone else notices the crazy amount of production on his voice. It aint bad if thats the stylistic spin he wanted on it but ig comparing to vessel its "masking" the inability to sing with the same natural precision and timbre. just my take tho

Yeah, I usually like Will's ST covers, but this one just wasn't it for me. Vessel's vocals hit on such a deeper, more emotional level. Will sounds like he's trying too hard to make it unique and his harsh vocals don't fit the tone of the song at all. He also messes up the lyrics.
