I remember feeling sad when Alex left CT, I felt without him CT would be naff and without Jack and Ethan, Alex's content wouldn't be as good. I'm so glad I was wrong both Car Throttle and AutoAlex have been putting out Fantastic content. The additions of Edwin, Taylor and Rory have been brilliant.

Tbh I was not worried about CT, but was really curious about whats to come and how it will change. I was sure the Alex will have a great channel, but was worried there wont be subs and vies and he might have to quit. I am happy that CT is more or less the same and I am ever happier about Alex and Taylors channel. Lets admit it, its not just Alexs channel. 😅

This 924 is now my favourite project car online, I want to see just how far you guys can take a car that's been in a field for 20 years. Moss needs to stick around for a long time. I also love the fact that you are doing the project entirely backwards, ie. superchargers, dynos and tarty wheels and suspension, when the gear linkage isn't even working yet 😆 keep up the good work.

They don't know what it makes at the crank nor do you so suggesting what it should be making is irrelevant. I don't know why Poms insist on quoting bhp figures having NEVER measured them, it's a guesstimate at best. It'd be like me saying my front fence is this long because I measured the street😂😂 Sort the fuel not to make a hypothetical power figure but because lean up top condition will grenade any engine regardless of how strong it is.

It needed a replacement engine, that is in, started once, but then it was not touched, so I believe it will be in similar state as yours when you got it😀. I also bought the supercharger kit from Ciprian (I can confirm the quality of the build) and I want to start working on it next year, as it is the year of the '24, right? 😀 I wish you good luck with your build! I can already see it will turn out awesome!

Those wheels look awesome on the car. I was skeptical of replacing the originals, but these do suit. Nice work combining stuffed starters. It's frustrating getting 'good used,' rebuilt, or even new parts and finding they're busted or weak too. It'll do your head in trying to find the problem. I went through four new starter solenoids before I got a good one recently. They would all spin up the starter motor, but the bad ones were too weak to push the pinion out.

110 bhp is the factory power for USA cars only (early US cars were even more crippled!). All European 924's and the rest of the world made 124 bhp stock. Even after Moss' obvious neglect, it should still make over 100 bhp without the supercharger.

  • @GUNPLASHOP

The 924 XK and XJ engines have 125hp stock power. The fact that only 70hp is produced before the supercharger is installed means that the current engine settings, such as the advance and retardation of the ignition timing and the fuel amount of the K-JET system, are the worst. A well-set 924 XJ engine and EFI Independent Throttle (ITB) setting also produces 150 hp. If you raise the engine condition to the best, I think it will easily produce more than 160~170 hp. I'm really looking forward to your next video. !!
