Majority of Indians are sure that Babri Masjid judgement of Supreme Court has many flaws and it was given under pressure. Ms. Arifa thanks once again for raising this question and for bold journalism I want to ask few questions through this forum. My questions to Muslim scholars, leaders and thinkers are. 1. What they did in last 70 years for upliftment of Muslim community? 2. How much money they made for their organization in the name of Babri Masjid? 3. What were their financial position before establishing Babri Masjid Committees? And what is their financial position now? 4. Million of dollars ( many crore rupees) were collected in the name of Babri Masjid if they use this money to upliftment of Muslim community Muslim must better off. 5. Ubaidullah Azmi an outspoken Muslim scholar of early 1990 and well known for his fierce speeches when he got Rajya Sabha berth he got numb. 6. Mahmood Madni and more roaming how to get Rajya Sabha. It doesn't matter how to get it. Mahmood Madni's father Asad Madni was one who invited Indira Gandhi at Deavband Islamic convention around 1978 to secure his political benefit. 7. Reality is Muslims do not have any sincere, comitted and well qulified leader not in India but around the world. They are fighting with each others to stay in power. 8. Even though Muslim scholars have big problems none of them are sincere about Muslim community. They are sincere about their establishments and to promote their school of thought for financial soundness. 9. Basic essence of Islam is HUMANITY (INSANIYAT) but unfortunately none of Muslim Tanzeems, school of thoughts, are realy worried about this. 10. MOTHER TERESSA is an excellent example of HUMANITY (INSANIYAT) at present time. I am sure most of us have seen her live but never try to learn any lesson from her. 11. Muslim scholars and leaders think sincerely how to upluft Muslim communities specially in education. GOD BLESS INDIA. JAIHIND

Faith has to follow no law,as no body knows where Jesus was born ,no body know where ram was born . But that's the believe of people , I guess we need not to be so modern but support our Hinduism .as when a mosque was built over they also broke the law. Muslims have macca Madina mosque where mohad born .what is the need of theirs to have mosque in the place of Ram ,they can do namaz anywhere

@Jai Chauhan How about Aryans who invaded India much before Muslims and killed millions of native Indians (Adivasi/ Shruds/ Dalits). They didn't stop here, they went on and they divided them into lowe casts so they can rule over them and these lower cast people can do filthy/ dirty work for them, upper casts Aryans, so called Hindus. India is only country in the world where only one cast can do filthy/dirty work for other people and they have been doing this for more than 5000 years. Lower cast people did not have right to go to worship places, MANDIRS, and take water from same well which upper casts have been using. Their conditin were worse than slaves. Upper cast Hindus treated them very cruelly in their home country and killed millions of them. Where was tolerance of Hindus when they treated native Indians extreme cruelly. Which were defined Shruds by upper cast Hindus. In fact lower cast got relief when Muslims came in. Why B R Ambedkar changed his religion at the end? Kindly read Riddles of Hinduism by B R Ambedkar. These are factual/ historical truth I am sorry truth hurts badly. Jai Hind You guys are alive today because of Islam, educate yourself. When British invaded America they eleliminated most of Native Americans (red indians) they couldn't do it in India because Muslim were rulers and they gave them very hard time and saved you from elimination. Muslims ruled more than 800 years in India but till today they are still in minority. Judge fairly who did justice for you. Problem is ANDHBHAKTS/ PAIDBHAKTS can't understand. Jai Hind

👍👍 Good Discussion. I think you must also have one session with the head of the Archaeological Society of India, who had done excavation there, who also happens to be a muslim and understand from him his perspective.

Supreme Court judgement was expected to be in favour of temple being built. Question is should a temple be constructed on a site where a Masjid existed.

Thank you for this discussion. The wisdom of the decision is now apparent. The offer of compensation while establishing a grave injustice was perpetrated is a subtle way of saying that the matter is not closed. Instead of waiting for the lower courts, the apex court should take it upon itself to settle the issue. The appellate may find solace in the final decision of the criminal matter. The latest decision has offered a key to finally solve the issue amicably. It is now up to the State to join the dots.

न्यायालय से न्याय की उम्मीद होती है और अगर न्यायालय ही आमजनों के बीच अपने लिए ही न्याय के लिए खड़े हो जाए तो फिर न्याय है कहां किधर है? हर बार की तरह बार बार यह कहना की न्यायालय को कठघरे में खड़ा नहीं किया जा सकता है तो फिर सवाल यह है कि न्यायालय के फैसला ही सवाल के घेरे में आ जाए तो न्यायालय उस घेरे से बाहर कैसे हो जाता है? इसका जवाब कौन देगा? जनता या खुद न्यायालय। जनता में मतभेद हैं इसलिए न्यायालय है और अगर न्यायालय के फैसले में मतभेद है तो फिर जनता और न्यायालय में अंतर कहाँ है?

Get all party's to accept the verdict of the SC, then delivery a verdict that defies all logic and principles of justice to appease the majority, is a textbook example of a Kangaroo court at work. You should file a review petition and if need be a curative petition to show the rest of the world justice in India is dead. As for the Sunni Waqf board's decision not to file a review petition, one must remember Sunni Waqf board is a government institution and is under obligation to accept the verdict of the SC, they do not have a choice in the matter nor do they represent the will of the people. What the SC has done is sown the seed of a never ending conflict which will result in another partition on India coupled that with the Kashmir issue, reflects the true nature of fascist Hindu fundamentalist slowly tightening their grip on secular India. The Muslims of India need to wake up and demand justice and if India can't deliver then it's time to part company by declaring independence from India. If you chose to ignore the reality and allow fascist Hindu's to dictate, your children decades from now will be slave's, the time to act is now.

There are errors apparent on the face of the record. There are a lot of contradictions. It is a fit case of Review. The Review Petition should be refers to the larger Bench. Once a Waqf is always a waqf.

There is no point in NOT filing Review Petition in the instant case, specially when there are contradictions in the Judgement. Just because the Rev Petition would be heard by the same Bench, and therefore no change/modification is expected, the aggrieved party shouldn't be advised to refrain from filing RP. It's a legal course and must be availed to set the records straight. I don't think any other judgement delivered by the SC in the recent past has been debated in such a manner. Therefore in all fairness there is enough ground to file RP.

I think Supreme court inferred that there was a non Islamic structure over which mosque was built , while Mr Madani starts his argument saying that there was no such structure and mosque was on a piece of land with no structure underneath it ? Every body interprets the observations as per their view point and there will never be a verdict acceptable to each and everyone .Even Prophet had to fight with people having opposing ideas . I wish there was a participant with another perspective .

Aarfa jee ne bilkul sahi kaha ki court ne Insaaf nahi kiya lekin saanti asthapit karne p zyada dhayan diya. But never forget isse samvidhan se bharosa tuta hai aur dangaiyon ka hausla buland kiya hai.

It’s very simple in India to demolish a mosque , Go to SC SC will not only justify demolishing rather allow building a temple over there, while doing nothing about the culprits who demolished mosque
