I've had 25 broken bones and two torn rotators from racing motocross for 28 years. Every time I hear JB talk about his injuries mine seem insignificant. He's one tough ornery som' buck god bless him.

Right im right there with you. Raced quads for 10+ years till my bike got stole. They want to fuse disks in my lower and middle back and my neck. Ribs are all bojangled shoulders and knees are all screwed. Oh and last year my sisters pitbull tried ripping my face off the morning after I put my mom in the icu lmfao. And he makes me feel like a bitch

@Fastbeeezy Come on now! You control the dirt bike. You definitely don't control the 2k lb. Bull. No comparison. And I ride dirt bikes. Broke my back on my CRF450R in the Rocky Mountains in 2015. The bull riding gig is wayyyy more dangerous. I have two step brothers that rode bulls. One of m was pretty good.
Nice hearing JB is happy. Man sacrificed his body for his family and it's nice he can tour with them these days.

@@vintage_hart6392 well first off he didn’t ride the “most dangerous bull”. And I guess people forget he is NOT the only bull rider in the world…. There are a TON of rodeo cowboys that have and do ride with injuries every day of the week. Damn fan girls need to get a reality check
JB added another injury tonight at the NF R praying for him GOAT 🙏
Nice way to start off an early monday morning.
I’ve always been a fan of JB’s riding. Watching this makes me like him even more. He seems like such a regular dude. Great work Dale! I love your podcast and your show.
I grew up with Tuff Hedemen, FFA, 4H, and that ranch life. Then life went a crazy direction. Found Dale on YT. And now I’m back into watching some bull ridin’. I found out of JB after his peak. But he is an animal.
Nobody can hang with his stuff. I mean he wakes up in the morning and pisses excellence. 🤙

So good to listen to all the stories over the years an J B always so entertaining no matter what he’s talking about love listening to you all’s banter keeping 90 ole son
I'm stationed at ft hood and Got to see JB ride in Killeen. One of the coolest moments for me, ever.
🙏to JB. Congrats on a great career. He's the best ever. Last of a dying breed. A real cowboy!!!
Ellensburg Rodeo! Thanks for the shout out! Love that rodeo. Spent a few years tendin bar in the western village. Love doing it, as it is a non profit rodeo and they donate to many charities. So I always tried hard to lure everyone into the bar so we could raise more money. So THANK YOU for liking Ellensburg and giving them a mention. God bless! Much ♥️& 🌴🌺Aloha🌺🌴
One thing I wish my parents got me into when I was younger was hockey and bull riding. It’s cool to see humility when it comes to the toughest men. We all will have to lay our ego/pride down some day. Jb you are a badass.

I grew up in Michigan and hockey is serious shit here, i played from 8 to 16 and had more than enough by that point. Alot of tough kids grew into tough men on the ice going on to play juniors and pro. But bronc and bull riding is psycho, crazy tough guys.

I think the idea is way better than the real thing. Look at jb hes not even 40 and he is damn near crippled. Thats gonna make the next 20 years hard hard living for him.
I love that JB trains the way the bull riders of the 1980’s and before! Party and smoking! Good Luck at the NFR JB! Get that gold buckle!
The Outlaw Josey Wales is darn good too!
JB please write a book about your beliefs and cowboy philosophys
That was a rough wreck, super happy JB was okay. Great podcast lads 👌
Never a dull moment on the podcast
Love love love JB’s son. His stories are the best ♥️♥️♥️
Great way to start a Monday morning . Enjoyed watching the podcast.
DB good you're up nice and early this morning.... & JB will never die.... never

Just keep it real JB and keep the fun and funky with DB! I’m loving it! 👊🙏❤️🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸, I’m missing the Rodeo as a kid in the BayArea. I’m an Arborist and I’m still going to play with trees while I’m 50, don’t stop the church! 👊❤️🙏
The wreck he just had early dec was rough. He was hung up knocked out cold and took 2 or 3 more headbutts from the bull.
JB has been my best ball rider since I’ve been a kid I love this dude that’s the only reason I watch bull riding after he retires I don’t know if I want to keep watching it JB Noonie the best bull rider ever

Being 66, and working cattle most of my life. Been in several situations like that. Once at Ray Mass' place in Snook, was loading bulls in the chutes they broke back and climbed the fence one hooked me. Didn't know what happened, just felt a thump in the ribs. Next day found out he had broken four ribs in my back. Doc said lucky didn't bust a kidney. Enjoy your show. Old Man Hammack.

I miss Snook. I worked in the Brazos bottom at TAMU fields with Mr. Otto Mass who rode a horse to work. Learned a lot from him. My half-pint sized female co-worker moved steers around from plot to plot by leading them with an empty field sack. Sure miss those days, early '80s. Also picked grapes at the Geezinslaw place to make wine. ;-)
I'm enjoying this podcast so much. I've just started watching rodeo about a month ago & J.B. Is my favorite bull rider. Thank you so much for sharing sharing
My dad was trying to get bucking stock before he passed. He had a heifer and her calf that broke Ty Murray's loading chute. Heraclio told my mom she was "pretty wild, you need to sell her". They took care of it for my mom and I will always be in debt to them for that. My dad's name was Ed Hulse. I learned a lot from him, not just how to get a hot bull. He sure had a way with cows and horses.
Great advice all around! Loved the podcast! Standing by for that text.
Dale you should do a tour around jb’s ranch and buck a few, I feel it would be a good video
Love the videos guys! From Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 Would love to come to Texas

I think we need to have Jagger on a Podcast lol
JB is a dying breed. Love Rodeo. Where men still exist.
I love how jb was open and happy during this podcast and hope yall have a Good day and be safe with trainin bulls

@@CS-zo7wx idk.. he left last season for the pro rodeo. Something about he enjoys going and doing the rodeos with his family where the pbr is more just checking into a hotel, walking to ride a bull then back to the hotel. Maybe he has a big family camper and travels with his wife and son? I’m not sure.. Maybe the PBR did something he didn’t like. Maybe a combo? Idk tbh
“Don’t Let Go” would be a good shirt

Epic. Interesting and funny. A life well lived! JB Mauney!
Country needs a movie about j.b.mauney life and willy should play young j.b. seriously though a movie would be awesome
J.b. you are the man brother hope you understand who you are to us 🇺🇸 🤠
Man I feel so bad for JB, started off real good this year at the 2021 NFR, and then round 2 just gave him hell, hope he recovers
A real cowboy, and a thinks, a man who knows his craft!
The country singer he's talking about is Cody Johnson when he signed to Warner
bad ass, true cowboy, ive been into western films lately and i didnt think real cowboys existed. refreshing to have discovered j.b mauney
53:06 The idea to have JB in the movie and someone else play JB is genuinely hilarious. Just don’t even acknowledge him and it’s almost like an Easter egg for people to watch out for! GOLD JERRY GOLD! 🙌
Real good interview from Ripley, MISSISSIPPI
I remember back in the gap jb came to lake Charles Louisiana for the mike white invitational and I had a pic of him goin over bushwackers head, he wasn’t to happy to sign it lol good times
Never really really checked out or got into Bull riding or this life style. TOTALLY BADASS blew my mind! , JB is a legend dam 👏
Grew up goin to the fort Madison rodeo and spent time with my grandpa in that hospital…Glad JB got to Iowa city🫡😂
I got on my first bull this year. I'd say 36 is definitely to late but damn it was fun.
Noting quite like an early morning podcast
JB is the coolest dude ever!!
Does this podcast have the part when JB gets a little unnerved " I DIDN'T TELL ANYONE I WAS GOING TO THE HOSPITAL!" " I DIDN'T GO UNTIL THE NEXT MORNIN'" I saw that ride. Ya, they opened the gate too early ( yadda yadda, I know) but everyone I was watching it with, about 20 people and we saw JB face dirt in the ground not one person could breathe) I fell to my knees. In my mind I was begging you to get up. Thank you for being so tough. Everybody left after that ride we were all so upset. Even the men. ❤️🤠

Dude with the black beard wouldn’t even look at JB nor look him in the eye. Shows how intimidated he was. Great interview overall truly inspiring to hear JB talk about his story and life.
JB ol son ...legend 💯
The “quizzing” is how we gauge if anything has changed. If he had started stating new symptoms it would tell us it’s either worsening, stable, or subsiding. Also patients will sometimes tell one person one set of symptoms and then tell someone else something they remembered also happened and it helps paint a better picture of what’s happening.
I hope I’m half the dad someday as JB
This makes Monday feel like a Saturday
I read the caption and I was like: NOOO JB?!! 😱
JB enjoy those younguns while they're young because they grow up so fast.Or you could just have more.
Rock on JB, Jagger is the next one up 😎

Take this with a grain of salt because I haven't been a PBR fan since it was on TNN back in the day but everyone knows who JB is. That said, I think this is the calmest and most sober "interview" I have ever seen him give LOL
Dale, if you can, pass on to JB this story. I listen to your Pod Cast and your story about having a lacerated kidney and needing a smoke made me laugh so; I had an almost identical situation last year when they took my left kidney out (cancer) and the following day my sister-in-law visited, and I asked if she had any smokes. She said I couldn't smoke in the room, so we left the floor, took the elevator down to the main floor and out the front door. Me in my hospital gown, IV pole still with catheter bag in tow. I no sooner got out the door and lit up and the oncoming head nurse started yelling from the parking lot, security guards came out and started yelling. A day after major surgery getting yelled at so much and me being 71 yrs old; when I got upstairs and getting yelled at again, I told the nurse to contact my surgeon and make arraignments for me to get discharged. Was it all worth it? Damn right it was. Have enjoyed watching your career and good luck in all your endeavors.
Very interesting hearing another mans approach to life. Go hard, you only live once, sack up, dale yeah!
Y’all good shit
