I watch German football regularly and I don't see the same adoration for Sancho's play in the German press as the english one. He's playing decent at times, but when you read the English press he should win the ballon d'or. I think that's very weird. Why would they do that?

And the most important stat - 62 separate injuries over the course of the season, the most in our history. Including missing 2 of our most important players (Martinez and Shaw) for the majority of the season, and fielding a different back 4 in almost every game, in season when we have a new goalkeeper to bed in. Side note: Sancho is very average. He’s had a couple of decent performances this season in the farmersliga and 1 in the UCL but nothing to convince he can perform consistently for a big club. He couldn’t do it at United under 3 different managers.

Bitching about injuries is so pathetic and disgusting at this point. It is not like you have Ronaldinho and Maldini injured but mediocre players like Martial, Malacia etc etc. Even when Shaw was fit and playing United still played like crap. We remember times when Fletcher and Carrick used to step in and play fullbacks and United would still perform in those games. You should go support Zwolle or any other Dutch club with that mentality and take ETH with you.

@@alantheangler6768 Erik Ten Hag downfall started with amateur handling of Cristiano Ronaldo, David De Gea, Sancho and others. He demonstrated he doesn’t possess the top player management expertise. He disrespected our club legend and best striker Ronaldo and the way he treated De Gea is beyond embarrassing. His tactical choices are poor and his coaching skills are nowhere good to manage a big club. He got all the players he wanted except De Jong. Every player he brought in is either a flop or injured all the time. The injuries are the only excuse he’s been grabbing on this season. It is not like you have Ronaldinho and Maldini injured but Marital and Malacia. If your whole team depends on Lisandro Martinez then you should not be coaching a premier league club. Yet he comes to the press conferences and insults everyone’s intelligence by saying we played good when everyone knows that’s not true. Do you really think clubs like Madrid, City or Bayern would stick this long with someone like Erik Ten Hag and all the nonsense he produces? Just sack him already and move on. This is the worst United team since Fergie left. Embarrassing.

Dortmund is a well run club, great fans, great stadium, and now in a CL final. If Sancho has anything about him he'll take a pay cut and stay there.

Considering they didn't actually go through the group stages, the ref just shoved them by force to the next round, than I'm more than glad they are not playing a final they din't deserve.

I can literally see Tuchel ranting about the horrendous quality of the squad in a press conference (like Conte at Spurs after the 3-3 draw to Southampton) after 6-7 months if he takes the United job. I see De Zerbi failing massively expecting to play out from the back with so many injured players. In a imaginary situation, if we are able to get Pep from City, is he going to play his football with this squad OR demand a clearout like he did at City. No wonder he is at City for 8+ yrs now because he gets the exact player he wants wrt his changing tactical ideas and that's why he didn't stay long enough at Barca and Bayern because they couldn't back him that much. Not true...Ole and Ragnick actually played him regularly, with Ragnick in particular he was coming along...it was Ten Hag that was stubborn on doing things his way thus regularly playing Antony or pulling Sancho way too early when he would start him. Even at the time so not hindsight it looked like he was using Sancho as an example to push his weight around bc Rashford was a little too established to do that to. The sort of thing bosses with no leadership skills do.

Manchester...leave the guy one more year on loan in Dortmund for his mental sake. Lets see if he can cook constantly over a period of time in his comfortable environment.

Dortmund are 5th in their league. It is hardly good is it. Champions League has always been a spawny competition as otherwise Man City would have won it 5 times in a row by now. In any transaction there has to be a willing seller and a willing buyer. Offer him to Dortmund for £10m and I'm sure they'll buy him. Heck more clubs will probably jump in. It's just nonsense to think you can folk out £70m on a player, have one disagreement and that's it. Money doesn't fall off trees and if I was cutting the cheques...I've paid for him, now work with him. Where's the grown-ups at the club? BWT that eats into the FFP so you can't just spend and sell at a significant loss.
