I've got a 2004 polaris sportsman 700 that my grandfather bought new in 2005, and it's been sitting under a little garage port since probably 2014. I've been thinking about pulling her out to see if I can get it going again and this video helped give me a few things to think about. Pretty cool machine you got.

I had a 94 Suzuki King Quad 300 4wd. It was a great Quad ! I'd love to have one again !!

No expert here, but I think your quadrunner is actually a kingquad. The differences between the two include a different headlight setup, no speedometer on the quadrunner, and the king quad has two gear selectors on the gas tank left one is 2wd, 4wd, diff lock. Right one is high, low, super low. Quad runner should only have one gear selector on the right side for a high low. I think that both models use the same plastic, someone may have installed a nicer set of plastic from a quadrunner on it. Looking up the Vin should confirm which model it is. The Vin on my kingquad is on the frame behind the left rear tire.

I may definitely be wrong as I continue to watch the video. Quadrunner have only 4 lugnuts and kingquad have 4 in front and 5 in rear. From what I understand of the two models there are indicators of both models.

Yes it does. Use A 6/12/24 volt testlight for power testing source trouble shooting increments.& electrical wiring dionise.

Pull start is under the seat next to the airbox. That quadrunner is a way better quad than the Polaris.

My Suzukis require the left hand brake lever to be fully applied for the electric start to work.

It won’t engage the starter unless it’s in neutral, just in case that was overlooked.

Them lil china quads can be fun stunt bikes if you do it right mine was free and all I did was take the rev limiter off, straight pipe it and stripped anything I didn't need. it ran like a honda for a while until one day I did a long burnout, the chain popped and the throttle got stuck stuck open. Before I could kill it the chain jumped back on and destroyed 1st gear and the bottom end. So I put a bigger motor on it and it was kinda a beast up until the other month until it locked up solid and lost compression. I haven't diagnosed it yet but I'm gonna do it bc I can't get anything for selling it and it's a fun four wheeler to just beat on all day

Open the throttle blade or slide on the carb when you spray the fluid in..lol

put the bike in the run. then just hook battery straight to starter and make sure another hot wire to the positive side of the battery terminal it will start if nothing is wrong with the harness

wasnt sure if you brutha there is a compression release that will help you spin that motor faster. it is on the spark plug side theres a lever you pull down on top of the valve cover it will help out alot but becareful because the recoil sucks when you pull and if it backfires and rotates back the other way will rip your shoulders. also look at your fuel petcock there is a setting for prime should say pri make sure it is turned there it helps assist when starting after it starts then turn it to on or reserve. for running. also you have to squeeze the left brake perch for it to start

I have that exact one they recommend you putting a milk carton on a wood deck in the back of it behind the seat and putting a battery in there and putting some cables to the front battery just get rid of that front batteries too big of a headache to open it up to get into

On that jump box when you turn it on you have to hold the red button after you press the power button

Youcan get lead acid refill boxes for the battery at advance auto parts.& O'Reilly's.,or autozone auto parts store.

You half to squeeze the brakehandle in to start it with the starter even after you fix those chewed up wiring harnest up good on those Suzuki quadrunner 4x4 it's either A 1998.,or 1999 year model to. What size engine is on it will tell you the year also guys.

Btw on the quad runner there is a black lever down there flip it up opens valves easier to pull. I know that based on experience to cheap to go buy a good battery 😂

Those little Suzuki's are very reliable and very capable Little Machines. With the diff lock and being so light they can dang near go anywhere...

A test light tester.& wiring wire harvest pick set will be your best friend in A situations like those.

You need A test light it makes things easier that way.

man you find some deals! i use to own a polaris trailblazer, seems like it was a 2 stroke.

It looks like A 1998 year model Suzuki quadrunner. And good luck on the Suzuki quadrunner 250cc engine. The wiring is like the types of quadrunners accept for the automatic transmission switches.& differential switches wiring is what is the only difference. Along with the oil.& if it has A temperature guages.& cooling fan.,or fans attached on the engines if their liquid cooled aswell to guys for those years.

Suzuki dose have a pull start buddy look under the seat right by the air box

My back right wheel won’t turn when I accelerate…… any suggestions. Also I can’t seem to remove the back right brake hub….. any suggestions?

I have a Honda trx 350 d from 1988 and parked it in the garden and there was 80mph wind and rain. Now when you turn the key the lights come on and the engine turns over by the starter but there's no spark and the fuel pump isn't working. I tried bypassing the run/off switch between on the handle bar but still no joy. Have you got any ideas what it could be please?

i just came across an old suski quadrunner how do i find the engine size?critters have ate most of wiring ,can anyone give a clue.

They only made them Suzuki 250cc quadrunners from 7 to 10 years tops. Then they switched over to quads.& bench is.& powerband banchis to.& quadcats.& quadcats.& forecast.& tiggerquadrunners.& twin powerband banchis to back then.

If the china bike runs you could strip it down and make a beast of a pit quad seeing as it's the same one I beat one for 3 years straight every day and never had a single issue except the battery

Try pulling the clutch in, there's probably a safety cut off.

It doesn't have a clutch switch. I got to figure out where these wires go that are chewed through. I don't know if the electric start work in the beginning

@@RpmAuto I think if you would go directly to the starter itself check for hot when hitting the starter button and/ or apply 12v to the wire lug directly it will tell you if you have a starter issue or a wire short

is the Suzuki 2 cycle gas?

Google A wiring schematics.& diagrams for those two years. For that engine by color code matching them the best that you can due. By the engines cc's size.& numbers to. With model& serial numbers.& letters to.
