Only changing the battle rifle to sig 716i won't help if you consider the package required with it, since it is a battle rifle & not an assault rifle. You need an advanced ACOGS level optical sights & modular buttstocks with underbarrel grenade launchers. Also get standardised uniform & carrying equipment. Get min of level III rated ballistic high cut helmets with individual comms headset and eye protection.....this is not an upgrade

Only AK doesn't change the game here AP round also affect which is found using by terrorist in J&k is major threat now, when they get US advance weapons left in Afghanistan like M16, M4,and other advance gear and they are using with hardcore steel and tungsten round in it that's the biggest challenge for our jawans 😉☝🙏🙏

This are basic equipments. My query are they in our defence budget. What is hurdles government is facing to issue this equipments to the army.

Ballistic Helmet. Not anti balistic.

Innovative yet it will go through test of time. If anybody visits DemolitionRanch, Kentucky Ballistics, Garand Thumb channels they will know that there are variations of 5.556×39, 7.62×39, 5.45, 3.08, 300 blackout rounds that effect differently on concrete/ceramic/armours especially on ballistic helmets. So I'm not criticizing but as the specifications required by the dept, surving a 7.62 from 10 meters is still lethal. Let's understand that we are in urgent need of equipment for another 20 years because the warfare has evolved, even 9mm or 10mm green tips can give serious damage in close quarters. So likely our R&D is in test phase that is going through all the challenges but the good news is, things are happening at a better rate than last 17-20 years.

Of course our army should get full protection 👍

MKU is kanpur based company, absolutely 💯

We should learn from Israel ❤and improve our defence capabilities

You should actually mention 7.62 mm bullet protection.Mentioning protection against AK can be misleading.

Are you joking ?? The standard issue 7.62*39 AK rounds or 7.62*59 Nato rounds can crack a rhino from a distance of 10 meters ....... May be they invented the best Helmed of this region ......

For better clarification:- The 9mm bullet mentioned is the 9x19mm, otherwise it would make no sense if a 9mm rifle round like the Russian 9x39 can be stopped but a small 7.62x31mm can't be stopped.

ohhh I was confused if that helmed can prevent any 9×19mm Parabellum Luger rounds then what is the use of it in a War or if they meant this helmed can prevent the AKM/AK9 or OTS12 Tiss or the OTs bullpup 9*39 MM rounds then it can easily stop the standard 7.62*39 or 7.62*59 Nato rounds....

At the star of the vid it said the the old helmets could only block 9mm round but not Ak47 rounds.. that is what I cleared, sorry I did not get your reply, if u make it a bit more clear then it would be helpful :)

​@@Elite_-ie8bs I wanted to say the the uploader said our old helmets can only block 9mm bullets but I think he should have mention 9*19mm Parabellum Lugar SEMI AUTOMATIC PISTOLS//SMG then those helmets are useless for the army because If we go to a war or a CT operations those old helmets are useless because the enemy will not welcome us with 9*19 pistols' they'll use assault rifles 9*39 mm or NATO 7.62*59 to welcome us.... So think if they can make new helmets which can block subsonic 9×39mm SP5 cartridges fired from a OTs bullpup or AKM/AK9 and that new Helmet can block those guns then 7.62*39 AK rounds........ I mean if the helmet can only block 9*19 mm bullets but it can't block 9*39 rounds then it's useless because won't use 9*19 mm semi automatic pistol in conventional warfare but you will use AK9/AKM/OTs 12 Tiss/AK47 or other variants of of AKs and the uploader said the old helmet can prevent 9*19 p-istols but can't block 9*39 bullets so what is the use of this ???

Ya phir ek example Dede jisme army ne dhang se koi crucial equipment ka induction Kiya hai while supporting the local industry in recent years Jo main bharosa karoon . Airforce also used to pull shit like this lekin in recent times Hume dikhta hai ki unhone apne process acche kiye hai aur local industry ko support Kiya hai . Army is plagued with this issue from a long time aur last m jab government ko involve hona padta hai toh ye bola jata hai ki government army ko force karti hai ya unke decision m interfere karti hai just like Insas , atags , nag , lch , dhruv , drdo light tank, Arjun , drdo manpad, bhai nag ka agla version bhi develop ho chuka hai aur inki testing ab jaake khatam Hui hai . But ye strict testing mechanism Israeli ya Russian equipment k saamne achanak se gayab ho jata hai jo tests m fail hone k baad bhi induct ho jate hai . Yat t14 armata Jiska dhang se development bhi khatam nahi hua lekin army abhi se usse kharidne k liye utsukh h Bina koi 20 saal lambi testing k.

Very good, but goi will not buy if it is made in India. They never do. Indian manufacturer made very good rifles, far better than crappy Ordnance factory rifle, but GOI imported Americans rifle. But the helmet as described is good, hopefully they can export.
