Hurricane Beryl caused damage on July 3 as it continued west through the Caribbean. Beryl's current track calls for the 2024 hurricane to weaken to a tropical storm as it crosses the Yucatan in Mexico before becoming a hurricane again when it makes landfall again near the border of Mexico and Texas.
