the reason he doesn't fight Rory is given at 1:30 "I have plan for the future"...GSP will retire after he fights Hendricks, that's what that means. I mean, come on, Rory is top 2-3 in the welterweight division and these guys would have to fight because Rory deserves a shot. That's why Georges is talking about his "plan for the future", which will allow Rory to fight for the title eventually, without them fighting.

I thought Rory was going to kill Georges after he was referred to as the "cream of the crap"

Although Georges is my favorite MMA fighter I have this feeling in my stomach,that he might lose his belt to Johny! I mean he does have all the tools to win but Johny's power has to be taken seriously! Will rooting for both of these Guys on Staurday Thanx cheers Go Canada

+jozsefkacsa well ur feeling was wrong, GSP won the fight split decision, he won 1st 3rd and last round. And Hendricks did not make weight for his recent fight

This wouldn't be a very exciting fight anyway. They wouldn't want to hurt each other and they know what they bring to the table it would be a stalemate.

I think Rory isn't ready for the title yet anyways. He's had very good performances and I think in time he will be the champ but right now he'd lose to GSP.. soundly... at least that's what I think. I think he could be thrown at the belt but its better if they keep building him and when he gets the title he goes on a long reign. But if he was ready it'd be selfish of GSP to deny him that chance cuz being champ also means bringing in money and achieving your personal goals.

I'd fight a friend. It's a sport not a street fight and what kind of friend are you when you are stifling someones career.

This is why I always gravitated towards mma rather than boxing. (As a fighter, trainer and fan.) The level of humility, honor, discipline and loyalty the fighters possess is immaculate. Clowns like Adrian Bronner and greyweather while talented do nothing for me.
