@@AstonTheVillaFan he’s forreal. Look it up. They have people hunting them and pythons out there. Which is the most Florida’esque thing if I’ve ever heard one 😂 chameleons are cool af though, I’m surprised people aren’t out there catching them for pets. Or send them to places that are dying of starvation - some spices, salt, or sriracha should make it go right down. If people can suffer through frog legs, snails, and bats, why can’t they make a chain restaurant for chameleon meat? 😛

@@AstonTheVillaFan where are you from? I’m in CA and I know ppl that breed them to sell them. I guess people don’t know they’re getting done dirty when they could just go grab them off of trees and get a tan at the same time out in FL. They just have to watch out for the zombies gnawing people’s faces off in broad daylight on the side of the road. (Also a true story, look it up if you want to find yourself on the dark side of the web for a little bit.)
If Forrest decided not to look for Thylacine in PNG for the reasons stated, I'd love to see him look for the reported Giant Ground Sloth in Peru. When I first heard Forrest talk about it he seemed very interested. Also fascinated by the reports that a local tribesman in this area of Peru went to the natural history museum in Peru and saw a model of a Giant Ground Sloth, and reported that members of the tribe believed they had seen this animal and that it still existed

@@AstonTheVillaFan aww, I appreciate that. I’m having a royally internally f*cked up day, so thank you for saying that. And not to detract from the sentiment but I whole heartedly agree with you, especially online. “Give a person a mask and they’ll show you who they truly are” encompasses the internet persona in perfection. There isn’t a time I walk around my daily life not understanding that anybody I pass could commit some atrocity at any time, but I do like to have a little faith in humanity. I’ve experienced that kindness first hand and I’ve been that kindness and help to others. However, I then come online and often want to blow my brains out. (Hyperbole of course. I know sarcasm doesn’t come out great online but you’ll have to trust me on this. There’s hard days of course, but overall an easy and very blessed life.) For whatever reason I always come across Po in all types of comment sections and always comment under them when I see them to let them know A) we have helllllla shit in common and B) they never fail to make me smile amidst this sea of haters, liars, skeptics, bullshit artists and everything else that makes the internet a cesspool. Po always lightens things up with some type of joke and I will never not appreciate coming across them and other people just trying to spread a smile across somebody’s face in the comment section. It may be nothing to you as you type it, but you never know how a positive comment even from a faceless stranger can turn somebody’s day around. To you and Po’ski 🥂

I would love to go look for the japanese wolf. It's such an amazing animal, and recently there have been recordings of howling in Japan, which could be the Japanese wolf. Also, the nature in Japan is beautiful. I would take with me my dog. Not because he is good at searching, he is quite lazy actually, but because he would be the best company I could ask for. He should reach out to Mr.Beast, dude just spent 6 million on a video to make a satire of squid games. 2 million to cure 1000 people of blindness for a video. He would 100% drop 4-6 million to get a photo-op holding an "extinct" animal for the click-bait title alone.
Broducer gets my vote. I'd look for a large Xenartheran in the western Amazon and I'd take Forrest. That's all I have..
I enjoy the extinct or alive show wish it comes back one day or at least a special. I too believe the tasmanian tiger is still alive. Is there any reptiles that are unknown or lost in the scientific world.
The fat tire plug is the only time advertisements have worked on me
Hey love from Western Australia If your going to Exmouth hit up Coral bay aswell
I would be searching for the ivory-billed woodpecker in Texas
Well to give it up to Patrick he called it when he said Forrest would tell Joe Rogan because he already did! I forgot the name of the region he said it was in but it was a high isolated dome region that is closed off by mountains where some locals have actually gone to before, but he said there was a giant sloth may still exist there. It's just one of the hardest places to get to.
I'm looking for the chupacabra in southern California. I'm bringing Retep along and giving him a megaphone so that he can call his dog. Charlie is the one and only demon dog, el chupacabra.
My theoretical $5 goes to Team BTG & Patrick looking for the Thylacine in PNG - it just rolls off the tongue. Plus, BTG could compile all of the stories into a bestselling book and/or film 🏆
I really do wonder what animals (other than Thylacine) that Forrest would like to have a second chance at searching for on EoA
A note about the area you guys want to go for the Thylacine. I believe the Japanese tried to cross there during ww2. Might be some info from them or the allies about sighting, or photos.

I would look for the ivory billed woodpecker, my companion would be Bear Grills. My searching method would be 1 million trained hawks that are wearing a muzzle and a camera that have been trained to locate wood peckers.
I would try and find the Kauai o’o in Kauai with the scientists from the expedition in the Alakai that recorded the last Kauai o’o. I would use trail cams and really good tape recorders.
my aunty is from png and comes from a mountain tribe, she's going to ask them about the thylacine for me. but i've already found out that that there might be something living there that exists here in australia now, but has never been recorded as being in png before. and this is not an animal that can migrate there nor could it be accidentally introduced. so if it is there it's certainly a native species. so i'm trying to get more information on this as well because some of these people have visited australia and said oh yeah we have them too and they have their own name for them.
Would love to see if Velociraptors still cruisin
I had to do a little bit of searching for mine, but I would search for the Labrador Duck with the entire Duck Dynasty crew just sitting in the duck blinds. Sorry, I mean 100,000 duck blinds.
Shoes in the house?!?!!
Sifaka Lemur is the coolest ZABOOMAFOOOO
I would look for the megalania in Australia with Drake. We would use trail cameras in tandem with using a herd of cattle for bait. I’m going to also donate to Forrest and Lizzo because I don’t megalodon is still alive and I’m perfectly fine with waiting for Colossal to de-extinct the thylacine.
Has anyone ever mentioned that Patrick looks like a Great Value Jon Bellion?
