Will Dylan Edwards End Up at Home With Kansas State?

Спорт

Amen. " You would be nuts not to welcome Dylan Edwards back WITH OPEN ARMS! " I couldn't agree with you more. Many times people pray for something or someone and when God gives the blessing to them, they CAN'T even see it. The reason is because a lot of folks are generally not thankful. They can't hit "the broad side of a barn" with the words "Thank you" when someone gives them a gift. If those same people wrote the book "The Wizard of Oz", they would have not welcomed Dorothy back to Kansas and grudgingly would have told her to stay in Emerald City. What kind of heart does such a person have? Secondly, have you ever been in a position with tons of people trying to give you advice? Bless them but It gets very confusing, very quickly. In fact, it many times is the same as "no advice" plus confusion! Let Dylan grow and love him. Lastly, I'd play for Coach Klieman or Coach Tang in a heart beat! Come on back Dylan. Giddens, Edwards, and Avery play'n together at the same time. Bombastic, Man! It would be the greatest story ever told, except for of course, The Wizard of Oz.

I agree, K-State should welcome Edwards back. But, with open arms?!? Two things raise questions here. 1) Would K-State be able to keep DJ and the rest of their RB room? 2) Even if Edwards commits to K-State, will he still be here come the beginning of the season? I’m not saying any of these thing will happen, but what if? I would really like to see Avery, DJ and Dylan on the field at the same time. Defenses would have no idea “which way did he go?” However, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Hope it happens and this time it sticks!

DJ won't go anywhere. RBs are better not crushing their bodies in college to save what they can for the NFL. Bodies take a beating! BTW hope you would consider our HCS forums! www.heartlandcollegesports.com/members-forum/forum/big-12-football/

Giddens is my guy. Edwards has a massive ego… he needs to humble himself some. He could be the guy of the future but Giddens earned his #1 spot on the roster.

@@heartlandcollegesports I think Edwards would have to take the #2 spot this year but they would make a great 1/2 punch for sure.. Next year the #1 spot would be up for grabs though. If Giddens plays as good as he does this year as he did last he might get drafted..

You’re correct about everything you have said. It’s a small group of fans not wanting Dylan. Those are the ones who don’t understand the new world of college sports with NIL. Seeing Dylan and Avery in the back field together would BE INSANE! So much speed and talent!

I'm okay with Edwards coming back to K-State, but I'm sure there will have to be some "fence-mending." That being said, with DJ Giddens being the clear #1 RB going into next season, will Edwards want to split time as the #1B or the #2 back? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Easy, welcome him! IF he ends up at K-State he will most likely “want” to be there AND I think the coaching staff won’t have to sell him as much as they did when they originally recruited him. He’d probably be less of a NIL hit than previously too. Win win! Go get him!

No serious K-State fan over the age of 14 doesn't want to sign Dylan Edwards. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that Dylan just loves being recruited too much. There will definitely be some serious interest from schools that have serious NIL chops. I'd say he's a long shot at best.

Dylan has a little arrogance though. He's flip flopping way too much. I think he's had little birdie in his ear. If he'd come to Kstate in the beginning he too could have a bowl game under his belt.
