I knew this place sounded familiar, but I have never been to or seen a Del Taco here.

When Reviewbrah describes people "running around in circles in the streets" over a crispy chicken taco, and it's still more accurate than CNN

I rather like the way he tries food in his videos. He allows himself to enjoy the item and gives just enough time to create an opinion for a formal review. While simultaneously allowing the audience to watch and gain a decent idea of what enjoying the item may look and feel like. All of which is later commentated on doing a good job of explaining and wrapping up the experience. 10/10.

Damn.....your attitude, your fed-up, ruthless attitude, the edgy risk taking person that simmers under the polite surface, is revealing itself. I thought I was pushing the envelope when I rushed out into the street and started waving my arms around. But no, you are the pushing one. Bless you and your reviews. (Entertainment is essential to living.) You remind me of a horror host from the 1970s named Bob Wilkins. He was very popular, and the ratings of his first show took off when he suggested that the movie he was about to show “wasn’t any good” and then proceeded to open a TV guide and tell the viewership that there were many better options, many other stations they would probably be better off watching. This “joke” sealed his fate, as viewers thought his deadpan humor was brilliant; and he had a hugely popular show that has continued in other hands after his passing.

Lol What stands out to me is that they have a different sauce flavor than Taco Bell for sure. Less sweet, and if I remember correctly, it seem like they used American cheese slices on some of the items versus shredded cheese. It’s been years since I’ve eaten there though.

I miss when New England had Del Taco (and Red Lobster!) restaurants. I used to eat at the one in West Lebanon, New Hampshire almost every weekend in the mid 90s. There was one time when I got a condiment cap in my burrito though. They ended up converting it into a laundromat. I haven't seen a Del Taco with my own eyes in over 20 years!

This is actually the second time they have had crispy chicken on the menu. For years they had the “big fat crispy chicken taco” and it was my favorite. I even wrote them a letter begging them to bring it back. Hopefully this comes close.
