Byun making life harder for Terrans like Serral makes life harder for Zergs. Meanwhile, Her0 with his all-army hotkeying is constantly fighting to make life easier for Protoss . :D

​​​@@Wright1331He means by being so good with their races they trigger nerfs here and there, the last patch was basically a Serral nerf and all zerg players are now dealing with basically having one less unit in their army (among other nerfs) because might as well not waste resources in a baneling that can't even kill a drone/probe/SCV by themselves which is absurd considering the cost and that it is a two-step sacrificial unit.

Uh... mirror match-ups are a thing you know. And last I checked, ZvZ is where Serral is at his weakest, so I don't know how he is single handedly making the race's life on the ladder harder if his winrate is below 80% in the mirror match-up.

@@raducora7159 Not just Serral, there's also Dark, the Infestor, Reynor, pre-"double" nerfed baneling, on and off creep engagements, overall economy imbalance for unit costs, Infestor, Brood Lords(you never make just one), Zerg favored maps, high-yield vespene geysers / rich minerals, stupidly strong spellcasters that don't need a lot of dedicated micro to be cost effective and will never be fully refered to as problematic as any nerf received will make the race half as competent as the other two on a surface level. Better to rework the Cyclone every few years instead so that it doesn't warp the meta like the Infestor does simply by being in the game. Can you tell I have a hate boner for the Infestor yet? That unit needs to just be made unplayable in order to bring Zerg in line with everything else that is presently in the game.

That reaper control in game 3 is absurd. I was 100% convinced all those reapers were dead, and instead they all live and he kills nearly all the zerglings. Only ByuN.

That reapers vs zerglings at 5:16 is really a fight of legend. Even a pro of the highest level like Solar couldn't comprehend how he ended up losing all his zerglings and not a single reaper exploded.

I remember one of Lowko’s old casts during the lockdown, when Byun was fresh off the Military - it was also poor ‘ol Solar AGAIN that got screwed by Byun’s reaper shenanigans

Those reaper grenades were insane. He barely lost any reapers, if he did lose any to begin with.

WOW... well now... that answers my question i have had for a while and never seen executed to get the answer... but that answer is Yes omg its Disgustingly YES to the question of "is there a point where even with the OG nerfs that a pack of Reapers can throw grenades one after the other almost on a constant loop to destory X group of enemies?" That was freaking nasty! Those Lings became popcorn flying all over the place before exploding... never seen that before! I used reaper harrass alot in wol. Havent come back since but would it be so bad to make reapers as good as the intro ones with stim and actual fighting ability later in the game at the price of high cost and ups? I ask fully expecting the verbal thrashing heading my way.

They are too big of a commitment when you could just make more marines or generally just something else. If it gets scouted you'll have a hard time actually getting anything out of them.

i still find it weird you cant choose which side of the building the tech lab/reactor will fit onto so its fair for both sides when they make a wall with them

Usually those are enough ling's to kill the reapers. It was just insanely well done. Players, even at this level, are not that used to the reaper being this strong.

I intentionally mis-pronounce Hecate as "Heh-kah-teh" not "Heh-kih-tee" because that's what it sounds like they say in TW Warhammer 3 for the elvin goddess of magic. Fun fact, Blizzard initially wanted to license Warhammer from Games Workshop for what eventually became Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Despite my negative feelings about WoW, I'm really, really glad they made their own fantasy universe. Warhammer is fun but super dark and more white-washed than your average European-based fantasy.

You are doing well Lowko. Too much humility goes to taking advice from the average mind. If you're doing this on purpose, I have nothing to say other than respecting your consciousness.
