Will Auguste Rodin face City of Troy - Aidan O'Brien answers after Prince of Wales's Stakes

Спорт

"I feel the blips were my fault. The instructions were wrong. It took us this time to start getting it right and solid with him"
A much-improved performance from Auguste Rodin

A true gentleman is Aidan a lot of the other trainers should be a bit more speaking up about their staff and praising them a lot more than they do Aidan always seems to have time to speak to the reporters with absolute courtesy with impeccable behaviour

Especially given the size of his operation, probably has the most horses in work in Europe?

I clearly remember watching the great Sunday Silence beating Easy Goer. Sunday Silence was allowed to stride out and make his own pace, then Easy Goer would try to pass him in the straight. The most memorable time was in the Breeders Cup, a thrilling finale that Sunday Silence stamped his authority. So it was no surprise that his grandson Auguste Rodin prevailed when Ryan Moore made more use of him to win Ascot's Prince of Wales Stakes today.

What a humble, wonderful man. And his training abilities are never in question. He is always willing to look outside the box and try something new

They should definitely face off for the good of the sport. He did it with Highland Reel & Found and he has no reason not to with City of Troy & Auguste Rodin.

Has every reason not to do it... both are just about favorites for everything they are aimed for and can be campaigned differently... you're even probably unlikely to see either of them against Henry Longfellow

Did he actually ask him will AR meet COT ? FFS, why would an owner want to face two top class derby winners off. I wouldn't ! There are plenty of top class races for both to contest. Sorry, but I think this was ridiculous to ask

Those are the lamest horse races I have ever seen - just going straight! Secretariat would have won these races again and again and again. US horses are much better!

You are insane! American horses remind me of quarter horses, only bred for stamina and not much speed. How have the American horses faired over the last few years at Ascot compared to the European horses on American soil?
