also i collect cds and i always just open it up carefully to check 1. that it’s in there and is what it says it is 2. for scratches/gunk if there’s no scratches or discoloration it should be fine :)

The burnt orange shorts were flattering. Loving that you’re thrifting. I think as people have said go for a well fitted bra, then try a 1x in tops, you have a large chest and large arms, you have to dress for your body, who cares what the tag says, no one sees it. I wear anywhere for and xl - 2x 18-22w, brands are all so different. Also why not go into a fitting room? The peach shirt fit so well. So did the blue Sonoma one. The others were either too cropped or just weird. Consider looking at the shoulder hem and where it falls, when it falls past your shoulder it makes your arms look bigger, speaking from experience.

There aren't fitting rooms in goodwill anymore, trust me I wish there were lol. And I do look at larger sizes but there aren't as many choices in those sections. Plus if I go up to a 20 (or larger) to fit my chest/arms, then it'll be too baggy everywhere else and I'll need to get it tailored... I do my best, please trust me 😅

really??? Lucky!! The other thrifters I've seen here on KZread also don't have fitting rooms at their Goodwills (and they are in states other than MN, where I'm located)... guess it just depends 😃

Honestly as someone whose body has been allllllllll over the sides of the sizing spectrum, I am more interested in seeing the thrifted clothing and your commentary. I honestly do not care how your body looks or the sizes you get. You don't even have to share the sizes bc it's not like we can go out and buy it ourselves lol that's part of the thrift adventure, finding clothes no one can currently buy in store

I actually prefer how rayon feels and drapes. If you're worried about how it washes, likely if it's at goodwill then it's been washed and dried unless it's new with tags.

Although pale peach isn’t a great color for you, the fit was the most flattering.

That safari shirt was a wonderful fit. Accentuated the bust and waist so well. I really thought the length was great. I usually like longer to cover, as I've seen you do as well, but that length worked really, really well. Glad you had a good time!

That’s absurd, even with the high cost of inflation!

I work at goodwill and at the location where I work, The only thing we check for is if the disc is in the case. it would be far too time consuming to check every single disc to see if it actually plays.

Loved the three pairs of shorts. I also have a zip up hoodie like Dan's in white from Liz Calborne (?) that belonged to my mom. I have a lot of clothes from me and her that I need to donate. Just trying to find the right place because Goodwill isn't it. I so wish those overalls fit. 20 + yrs ago I had a pair from Levi's that fit me perfectly. To this day I can't find another pair 😪 That store was huge. Couldn't believe how many isles it had just for shoes, lol. Really enjoyed this one Cassie. Can't wait for the next one... 👍

Most of the time i don't even look at the sizes. I just go with what fits me. Kinda eyeball things and try them on.😊

On the shorter shirts, you could wear a tank top under the shirt that’s a little longer than the shirt to make the shirt look longer. Umm how many times can I say shirt! 😂

Hi Cassie , love the maroon shirt on you . That being said , I used to go to G.W. ( alot), to thrift . but found , for an organization , who is supposed to cater to the " have nots"💰💴💵💷 wise, they find it ok to charge ( alot ), of the clothes in Mass. way too high. I have given donations to them but , stopped after running into this problem ( for me ). I also , wash everything ( from there), before I wear it , just my thing , because I knew a person who worked there & she filled me in on washing before wear ! Great choices regardless enjoy ... 👌❇🖤❇💚❇💚😍
