She took advantage of the wheelchair , got lazy, gained weight and now she can barely walk. Im happy some ppl can have will power

Make sure that you always take up the offers of counseling after difficult or tragic calls. People are often quick to put a brave face on, say they are fine, and push their problems down. Rule one in any emergency service field should be that you never hide your trauma or stress from your team and your management structure. Rule two should be that you always take the opportunity to talk to a counselor. Don't let pride or ego get in the way of talking care of yourself.

@@damionlee7658 Yeah I was going to say the same thing as you - my brother is a paramedic, and although he’s a very stoic person, a lot of sh*t can happen that is genuinely just not in your control. I remember one time him coming home for a weekend and just breaking down, because he didn’t feel as though he was making a meaningful enough impact, and that ‘people die anyway regardless of what I do’. My mum and I convinced him to go to the NHS counselling service, which specialises in counselling for NHS workers, and he says that it’s the best decision he ever made. What people have to face and deal with in jobs like paramedics / firemen / nurses / doctors can often be completely overwhelming and devastating, but there is help out there to help you to deal with those emotions, and it’s important to take it.

You guys should watch more of just Amy and Tammy. Their two sisters who are very overweight and are on their Journey to get in better shape but it’s a bit scuffed, funny and not dark. The first show is more just to scare people to eat better and work out. Tammy and Amy are a bit more light hearted and enjoyable.

I mean one of them was rly horrible. The one who lost weight and stuck to her diet and eventually had a kid seems super sweet. The other one was described as manipulative and lazy. She used a lot of the people around her for the things she wanted and always turned the attention back to her even when her sister was getting married and especially when she was pregnant.

As a person with an eating disorder, normally i avoid videos like these because the people who react to them generally are insensitive and make comments which worry me about my body.
