How come Pelosi can get rich from insider trading yet Martha Stewart was sent to prison

An important note of any law is enforcement. Airlines by law must seat families with young children together due to their responsibilities in an emergency situation, and yet there is 0 enforcement of this so the airlines charge extra for seat selection screwing over passengers for something they must be doing by law while law just sits like empty words on the books.

All of this needs to be made clear and exposed for constituents to see who they're electing and what they're doing. I'm only voting Libertarian and Independent. Enough people do this we can slowly start to make big changes. Right now, for elected officials it's like shooting fish in a barrel because they can lie, cheat and steal and it's perfectly legal.

Jared Kushner didn’t walk away with $2 billion. He got the Saudi investment firm to invest in his project.. It’s not insider information on a company that you are legislating policy on. Kushner had to approach the Saudi and have them believe in what he’s proposing. And then Kushner will need to manage a successful project to have a happy investor. Big difference.

Could this be done through the states? Could the citizens of a state pass a ballot measure to make it illegal for reps of their state from trading stocks? Each state would have to do it on their own in some way but it would take the power away from those who make money off it.
