Will a Jackery E1000 Power a small welder? Lets Find Out

Just a quick test to see if we can power a small 90 amp welder with a Jackery E1000 power station/solar generator. This Jackery has a 1000 watt constant and 2000 watt peak pure sine wave inverter. Will be interesting to see if we can at least spot weld intermittently with it. Power station and welder was not harmed in the making of this video. Thanks for watching.

I have one of those Ryobi battery pack/inverter combo thing and I wanna see how long a small space heater would last while camping lol

Nice, not very long space heaters take power like mad

You have enough voltage but not enough amps. I think the Jackery 1000 is rated at something like 7 amps. Your welder probably needs somewhere around 15.

Yeah 1000 watts constant and 2000 watts peak, not sure the exact voltage, probably around 110v so thats about 18 amps on the peak. But not clear how long it can hold that. Was wondering if I could maybe do some spot welds. my welder was nearly maxed out since I was running .023 maybe if I had things dialed back it could work. Im thinking a e2000 power station could run the welder no problem just was a fun spur of the moment test
