My husband and I first heard of Wilhelmus a Brakel while in Grand Rapids for the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology. Derek Thomas held up a volume of The Christian's Reasonable Service and said that he would sell the shirt off his back to purchase these. We bought them and since began attending the Puritan Reformed Conferences. Now my husband and I are moving to Grand Rapids for him to study at the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. GOD is so good ! I would never have believed that my husband would be sitting under the teaching of the man who translated the books that we were so excited to buy.
