As a Palace fan, there's never been a time when I saw Zaha hog the ball to the detriment of the team. Honestly Arjen Robben played the same way at Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern. It's a normal thing in top level football, moreso for wingers than strikers or central attacking midfielders.

He's one of the biggest talents wasted in my whole lifetime of watching football. If you played football at a high level you’d be with Wilf. That’s it’s hard to watch Neymar at times. Just slows play way too much because he’s doing his own thing. Team game man. No a 1 man show. You’ll get subbed nowadays for that nonsense. This is why Utd players used to go through with CR7 early days and they went in on him. Then became arguably the GOAT

It's just certain players who are born with a lot of natural talent already feel they're better than player's around them and don't put in the work. They become difficult to play with because they've been told their whole lives they're destined for big things and think they can do as they please. It becomes a reality check when they players they see as beneath them get picked in squads because they work harder and understand football is a team game. A lot of guys have massive ego's before they've even made a name for themselves on the professional stage and that ego takes a massive hit when they lose their place in the starting 11 to players they see as less talented.
