This is what my rusted out old tin ears heard: Oh my flower from the wildwood was lanky and tall, And without her adam's apple, she had no shape at all. I can still her there, under a tree, Tying knots in her stockings so it looked like she had knees. Oh she ate like a horse but she never grew big, About as useless as spraying perfume on a pig. "I'm a natural blonde," my flower would swear; Black was the color of the roots of her hair.

They are not magic, but they keep my wife from screaming at me from repeating herself a thousand times a day. Besides getting me out of jury duty the inconvenience is well worth it. Thanks again.

I have got to show this to my hubby who refuses to wear his hearing aids... lol I literally exhaust myself having to scream at him .... oh, I do have to be in front of him so he will know I am even screaming! He's the love of my life, I really miss our conversations , but I am not giving up.. Good on you Mr. Holmes love to you and your lucky wife!!

When men as lucky as your husband is, including myself to have an awesome lifetime bride, not just a wife, every second is a joy. When one of us gets sick, we both are involved. Including hearing aids and diabetes. It’s a family issue. I am happy to put them in, it’s my duty. Making her happy makes me happy. That old saying,”happy wife, happy life,” is far more than a cute set of words. I listened to my parents go at it for a lifetime. I watch my brother and his wife do the same thing. AND I HATE IT.😡 no kind words. Every syllable is a scream. Constant silent digs. The holidays were brutal. Both my parents are gone. My three brothers and I are estranged and do not speak because being around them is like putting my fatigues and combat boots on again. So, we do for eachother. Every morning I take her, her morning due. Hot chocolate and an English muffin before she gets up. With this Covid thing not over yet, WE BETTER GET ALONG, because this house gets like being out in the sailboat .........small, cramped, no privacy, (I think you get the idea). I am just so lucky to have this woman in my life, plus, she has allowed ME in hers. Besides her being a good sport and up for just about anything but snakes and spiders, I need to be able to put my head down at night knowing I did the best I could for my perpetual girlfriend. AND, THATS WHO SHE IS. So sorry for the rant. 🤠
