New rogues are awesome! Would like to build similar deck in explorer.

I have never clicked on an mtga video so fast. I ADORE the Fae cards, its what got me into magic! I am over the moon that they finally have better cards.

Awesome. Was hoping there would have been more flash Faeries in the set. Looking forward to brewing and getting destroyed by aggro.

It's bizarre and wonderful to see CGB play against SaffronOlive. MTGGoldfish is the reason why I even started playing MTG at all. Considering Seth play MTGO and Bo3 heavily in Arena I never thought these two would cross paths on stream!

Sleep-Cursed Faerie is a card I absolutely would have misplayed in paper if I hadn't seen it played on Arena in all these early access videos. I would've tried to just untap it directly with the activated ability and forgot how the stun counters' replacement effect is worded.

@@fry7486 It has reminder text on the ETBs-with-stun-counters line, but really they probably needed reminder text on the activated ability instead. "2U: Untap Sleep-Cursed Faerie. _(If it has stun counters, remove a stun counter instead of untapping it.)"_ Other recent cards I've misplayed in paper: - In LTR, an opponent put a Fog on the Barrow-Downs on my Orc Army. I was super annoyed that my amass cards were completely locked out for the rest of the game, because I didn't put together that Fog on the Barrow-Downs makes it no longer an Orc Army and so future amasses are supposed to make a new token instead of using the existing one. I only found out when I was reading the amass rules on the MTG wiki yesterday and the page there mentions that Pacifism effects in amass sets are always designed to not permanently lock out amass spells. - In MOM, I didn't realize that these two sentences on Quintorius, Loremaster are part of the same ability because there's no paragraph break, so the whole ability doesn't happen if there's no legal target: "At the beginning of your end step, exile target noncreature, nonland card from your graveyard. Create a 3/2 red and white Spirit creature token." So I was pooping out Spirit tokens on each of my turns even after I ran out of noncreature spells in the graveyard. I didn't find out until I built a Quintorius Historic Brawl deck on Arena much later and was surprised by not getting my Spirit tokens.

That ending cracked me up so hard. Mastermind into mastermind into removal while you draw 3 lands. Thats about the most demoralizing thing to see.

Talion for 2 is so good in a lot of decks. If they can't deal with it the card advantage is insane.

i look to you for the authority on these new decks.

Love the deck, but.... You gotta play some faerie vandal; works great with the dreamthief, the mastermind, & tallion's messenger. Easy colour requirements too (probably better than obyra). Probably a couple too many 1-drops (think 6 is probably the sweet spot) & probably too many tallion. (It's a great card, but I'm not sure it's a 4-of) I'm excited to see where dimir faeries goes: looks like it'll be a strong deck, & it's right up my alley

These faeries seems pretty fun to play. I will hate to play against flash creatures, sucu a good mechanic

CGB is truly a wonderful content creator :)

@@gameschooldadMTG if rogues was AA tier, soldiers is C tier. When rogues was in it's prime, 50% of the meta was rogues...it was WILD! CGB complains about stale meta now but the man was in the verge of quitting back then for sure. Since rogues rotated there hasn't been a deck that dominate in standard so there's nothing to compare it to over the last few years.

"Drawing better cards than the other". I experienced it a lot and really hate it! Luck is real on card games tbh.

Faeries are gonna break standard. All that counters with added cheap flyers will kill most of the decks before they are able to get anything good on the board. Maybe a fast agro deck would stand a chance. And "The End" card to remove opponents most important synergy... that needs to be banned.

Imma say it that Rapsolo guys sucked. Imagine just playing Standard Dimiri and throwing in a couple fairies for the vip preview.

You should tell mtg to cool it with the rigging. 50% of my matches now are against 200+ card decks who just magically draw everything they need

Good job keeping yourself from saying "tribe", since WotC has banned the word now. Faerie "themed" decks are going to be as loved/hated as rogues were in ZNR

I hate this achetype of deck so much. It's the type of deck i go against that always gets the nuts when i go against it and falls on its face when i try to play it.

CGB is a nice player but is so salty that is hard to watch

All I want to do is buy out Hasbro so I can FIRE your devs. Between the algorithm, the predatory store, the multitude of FAILED IF//THEN statements, and the fake//ban-able crap I don’t whom to throw blame at first.
