Since we love wildlife and have a couple Earthschooling.com science stations/feeding stations for wildlife observation in our yard we decided to do a wildlife themed holiday light display this year. We have never done any light display at all - even string lights around the trees - so this was an unplanned and progressive project that happened over three weeks and kept going because, "hmmm...this might look nice there...doesn't this place need some light...oh that duck family is so cute...we need that..." and then before we knew it we had joined the ranks of "people who put up lights for the holidays."
