Wildlife Photography in Kanha National Park | TIGER COUNTRY Ep. 2 - The Real Life Baloo

Wildlife Photography in Kanha National Park | TIGER COUNTRY Ep. 2 - The Real Life Baloo.
Welcome back to the jungles of central India. In the second episode of Tiger Country, we'll set foot in the enchanting forests of Kanha National Park. Over a total of 5 days and 8 safaris, here's bringing you some of India's precious wildlife. Due to hunting / poaching and habitat loss, most of them now fall under the threatened classification by IUCN.
Most of the wildlife that one can encounter in Kanha National Park like the Barasingha (Hard-Ground Swamp Deer), Dhole (Asian Wild Dogs), Sloth Bear, Bengal Tiger, Gaur, Spotted Deer, Golden Jackal, etc. as well as various species of birds - are featured in this video.

I hope you enjoy the biodiversity I've managed to bring you. There's a lot of animal behaviour that I've focused on because I want this channel to be more than just photography. At the end of this month, I will be traveling to both Satpura & Bandhavgarh National Park to film episodes 3 & 4. @@KennethLawrencePhotography The area has quite a rich primate and small mammal diversity, It would be nice to see how you are able to capture the behaviors and mannerisms of the smaller denizens of these forests as they are often overshadowed by the more charismatic of India's megafauna.

Needless to say I am blown away by the quality of your work and the messages you share about conservation and climate change! I was so impressed with this video that I have watched it again! I can honestly say that I have never seen images that so beautifully convey the true majesty of the bengal tiger - pin sharp, perfectly exposed and in its jungle habitat - absolutely unsurpassed! This animal is, in my opinion, the most impressive wild animal on earth. To then see such stunning images of the Indian leopard, sloth bear, asiatic wild dogs, etc., in their natural habitat, was wonderful. Again, well done Kenneth and also please pass on my best wishes to your friend. One final point, having been raised on a livestock farm, I can appreciate why farmers needed to reduce the numbers of wild dogs - such ruthless and aggressive predators can destroy a small farmer’s livelihood. Alun

Thanks you for the humbling words, dear Alun. About the farmers' plight, i absolutely empathize with them; but no beast is ruthless - it's how mother nature intended them to be. Being the most adaptable species on Earth, we can find a better solutions than mass slaughter. 🙏🏼

Yes this is my second comment on this channel, but the gravity of such displays of wildlife is beyond words. I genuinely felt connected to tigeress Naina. She made my heart pound faster than ever before. And this time it wasn't out of fear of tigeress but out of fondness of a species so magnanimous and chivalric. Thanks Kenneth for making me feel meta version of Kanha National park.
