Fantastic footage! I sometimes see brown hares go past in a blur, but lovely to see lots of them like that.

Loved watching the rabbits! Were the snakes close to where the rabbits were playing. You think that’s what the snakes are hoping for on their menu this week? One of them was extra large to me. Gosh do they grow as big as phythons

Hi Maria they were Hares a bigger cousin to our rabbits and they are well away from the adders. The adders are not as big as pythons thankfully but are still venomous and you have to watch your step around them, they can still grow to about 3 feet. Take care. Mick

Wow, awesome Mick. You do spot em mate. How about them Hares? I see them every now and then but that was spectacular as was the Adder. I love to hear the frogs gather this time of year - an awesome sound. Well, good going. Have a great week ahead. Mark

Thank 😊. The hares gather every year in this one field in The Cheviot foothills and do their stuff, got to be early to witness though as they have disappeared by 8am. Doesn't seem as many adders as last year so I think a few didn't survive the winter also yesterday spotted the first grey squirrel at the entrance to the valley. I was wondering why the reds had disappeared now I know. Thankfully loads still in the next valley but sad to see them pushed further north. Take care have a great week. Mick.

Thank you Emz. They are very shy and will move off if they hear you approach. Yesterday there were 12 at this spot in The Cheviots, fascinating animals and very social. Take care. Mick.
