He's a Villain but here's why hes interesting.....and why many want to see more Darklina: 1. Alina's blue scarf blew towards the Darkling EP1 (hope he has it !) 2. They form a unique light bubble when the Darkling is visibly upset EP4 3. Their foreshadow have more chemistry on the wall than Malina EP5🤣 4. The Darkling killed theFjerdan/Conductor/Zlatan EP 1/6/8 to protect Alina

@@kebbiew.8359 I'd deem him as antihero personally, the way the portrayed him in the show. His actions were justified and all grisha should be thankful to be alive, because of him. Did he overdo it in present day? Yes, but he lost so much in the past already

@@PlengLoveC They need to give him a redemption arc. I love them so much. He loved her so much. I hope that Netflix and the showrunners realizes the popularity of Darklina and go a different route. Malina is so boring. We can't watch a few seasons of them two. They would lose alot of the fan base if they do.

This was absolutely beautiful!!! Oh man, I've got goosebumps. I genuinely don't understand how Alina and the Darkling aren't together. They are friggin soulmates, darkness and light, yin and yang. Hell, even Ben Barnes said it himself. Just because Mal is the good guy does not mean he and Alina belong together. The Darkling and Alina they defy each other, they challenge each other, it's so interesting. Yes, the Darkling is manipulative and he is violent and it can become scary, but that's what he was taught in order to survive,bin irder to get Grisha to where they are. I mean tbh I think Zlatan is more of a bastard, letting Fjerdans in, so they can raid the docks and kidnap and kill Grisha, no wonder the Darkling wants to kill them. If the Fold was gone, there's no stopping the Ravkans, Shu Han, Fjerdans from attacking Grisha again, repeating history. Throughout the decades he's only had himself for company, to make decisions, and he's become colder and crueller because well, of time. With Alina, he doesn't feel alone anymore, he feels like he could spend forever with her. That moment where she touches his hand and the light just exploded, his face! His face said it all. It's like he's saying I've finally found someone, and Alina could really be his balance. I feel like when she said to him that he didn't give her a choice, neither did she. When Baghra took her, she should've went back and gotten the truth out of the Darkling, she knows him better than bloody Baghra, he would've told her I think, and she could decide from there. She doesn't get how much the Grisha had to suffer and maybe he could've told her that so she could understand. I feel like he really wants to protect Alina as she is the only one like him, and, if they got the chance, the other side would try to kill her. I swear, there is literally so much potential with these two they're really interesting and complex characters. I hope Netflix realises because God knows I'm going to fucking lose it if they don't.
