Wilderness Tahr Ballot, Landsborough, Arbor Rift 2021

Ricky, Jeff and Yax head south to hunt one of the wilderness ballot blocks and try to catch the beginning of the Tahr rut.
We had this block for first period 2020 but due to lockdown we had to roll it over to this year.
I enjoyed making this edit and its pretty cool seeing the trip unfold and a few animals hitting the deck.

Great fellas , my first Tahr experience was Arbour Rift , great to see some familiar country. Bloody tough block . We ended up spike camping up half way as coming down in the dark was fairly ordinary ...

Nice hunt fellas I’ve been in Arbor Rift 2 times and have taken 2 good trophies a 12-3/4 Bull and a 9 inch Chamois it’s a cold block and hard walk but they don’t come easy any Bull Tahr

What a rollercoaster. You guys are making me all types of jealous. I gotta go for a few hard jogs and get into a block myself! Top work though lads, those were some great hard earned bulls! 650m is a long way for anyone. Thoroughly entertaining and inspiring.
Really enjoyed that vid. The 'B' crew managed to put together some great footage without you on hand Muzz. Massive shot for anyone to drop an animal from 650m, nice shooting Geoff. Well done to all the Lads on their well deserved animals.

Hey Tony, Its in 6.5 PRC its going good so far but still early days. Jeff and Yax both stocked up on ammo as soon as covid set in but I know a lot of people are struggling to get it at the moment.
Wicked adventure boys, did some miles. Shame you couldn't make it Muzz, next time aye?

Yeah mate 💯 I’ve got a microphone for my phone but the lads just had IPhones so the river and wind definitely ruins the sound side of things.
