The AEV bumper definitely paid for itself. Years ago I hit a deer going about 55 mph with my stock JK at night over the Sierras, it was a small one and it wasn't even head on. My front bumper was bent, front grill craked with turn signal missing, left wheel arch was torn off and both the left fender and the hood damaged.

This is the first video of yours I've seen and you make great content! I am newer to overlanding and a little apprehensive to go out on my own without a group of at least a few vehicles still. Hoping I can get some more experience and hopefully be comfortable enough to venture out on my own schedule one day :) Thanks for the great watch!

Great job. Do you know a model number for the ARB bumper and did you have to install heavier springs on account of it? Your bumper is exactly what I would go for due to the bar that protects the radiator. I have hit lots of dear and totalled 2 cars. They can do serious damage.

Im 50 years old now and Ive wanted to do something like this all my life. But it was always next month, next year. And that never came. I started my own business and the first thing I did was buy a 2018 Jeep. I worked for 2 years getting prepared to give it all up on an adventure before I was physically unable to. I wont go into details but I lost my business this spring. Lost everything but I have held onto my Jeep! I don't know where or how I will ever afford to do what it is you are doing now,but im not giving up. Figuring out financially how its going to happen has got me stumped. But the dream is firmly locked into my brain. Maby what I needed was to have all the things in my life that kept me bound to what I consider the slave system of the banks and financial world removed from me. I don't know the answer. And somehow being able to admit for the first time that I don't have the answers anymore has a strange kind of freedom attached to it. Wish me luck. Ill let you know someday maby how it all turns out. Hopefully with some really good videos.

As crazy as it sounds, the BC Doukabors used to burn it all down, everything! All their earthly possessions, it was like purging themselves. You've got your wheels, carve out a simple interior and give her hell. Like McQueen famously said, Time starts Now!
