My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

Praise God - I am well-acquainted with childhood trauma. I had already forgiven all the people in person (except the main perpetrator) and forgotten all the the things but I had not expected that I would still have to deal with the compounding effects of what I had been thru. At 56+ years old I have only recently begun to allow God to unravel me so that He could put me back in proper order - reset me to factory settings if you will; from reframing experiences thru the Gospel to identifying unchecked behaviors and patterns of response I had carried with me and inflicted upon my wife & kids, I have experienced more spiritual and emotional growth in the past few years than all the previous years combined. Having a Godly wife has been a blessing for me and I am certain that you have been an instrument of God's to serve in your husband's healing as well. Blessings, John
