at 1:31 you can tell that airtime will be sharp cause you can literally see the wood sway!!! and at 2:05 you can see it sway if you look really close! great footage by the way!!! and at 3:05 you can really see that sway on the underflip! i know every RMC has sway but man! its intense on this which gives me so much hope that it will be amazing!

@@GearZenChannel Coasters generally do that to try to balance the forces on to the stroucture. It always happens. Swaying may look unsafe but it actually makes the ride much safer than you may think.

Looks great. It amazes me how Kings Dominion can just take down Volcano, have everyone distraught and not replace it smh. Hershey Park on the other hand is on top of all of their coasters. Great job Hershey we love you guys..

That coaster looks amazing

Okay this just looks amazing. That spiral going up the second hill looks fantastic, the banking elements, the double down, looks like 1 floater hill and the rest are ejector? Oh and lets not forget what looks like at least 3 great looking positive G's in those swooping banking drops!! Wow. I can not wait until I get out there to ride this. Probably will give in and go this fall.

Great footage and my cat was intrigued by all the bird noises lmao Seriously though, this is gonna be amazing.

When I heard Wildcat was closing last year, I was hoping that RMC would convert it to an I-Box coaster. Looks like they're working their magic once again. Can't wait to ride this!

Got my preview pass for Wednesday! This will only be my 2nd RMC since there's not much around the DC, MD, VA area

They should paint storm runner different colors so it pops more since wildcat now has the bright red.

Lot of structural sway, but that is good for the flexibility for the wood support system. I love how they built on top of the original drop, back in 2012 I worked at Hershey Chocolate as a COnsultant and at lunch in the winter I would park my car in this mini-mart lot and watch maintenance or maybe GCI replace a lot of the wood structure on the drop back then and the testing of the Millennium Force Trains. I also watched the construction of Sky Rush, which didn't interest me as much as I prefer woodie coasters... but I did get to see the top apex put in place as well as a good portion of the lift. I haven't been to hershey as a guest since Sept 8th 2001, I only remember this date because the next day my wife at the time and I were visiting her family who came into NY from the west coast and we went up on top of the WTC towers for sightseeing, and we all know what happened 2 days later. I doubt I will even be able to ride this as RMC's are not known for fitting us larger folks... which is a shame. Same thing with El TOro, I wanna ride it but if you have a waste exceeding 38" you're not riding which I think is BS... but whatever... this is mainly why I stick to woodies, intamins, and B&M coasters I know they had us larger folks in mind.

That dashes through the layout so fast it might be the fastest ive seen!

It shouldn't surprise anyone that this coaster is similar to the Joker at SFDK. Wildcat and Roar had very similar layouts.

You should reach out to them about media day. Ryan had the same thing happen when Iron Gwazi opened. They apologized to him and were happy to invite him for the media day. Good luck!

Never experienced a Stepup Underflip before so I’m excited

Remember that this has a seperate load and unload platform in the station, so dispatches could very well be this fast.

With a good crew which admittedly this year is much better but historically at Hershey a sense of urgency never seems to be really seems very important.

Heads up for media day, you have to be on their list to get an invite and you have to reach out to them to get on the media list

It looks like it hauls butt can’t wait till Tuesday

Were you within the park’s premises when you recorded this, or somewhere close? I’m going to be driving up to Nickelodeon Universe on opening day, and it would be awesome if there was a roadside view of this ride

All I can say is that on the 23rd they were only testing two and I heard that today the crane was up pretty late today (7:30pm) inspecting the underflip & lift hill. If I were to guess they have not done all three at once yet…
